64° here in Upstate NY this rainy morning, it has rained all night and we are to get more rain till about noon. It is a lot better though than they originally thought. The original forecast was we could get up to 4" but now I feel we may get about another 1/2" to a total of maybe 2" from the storm.

I had a busy day yesterday and I have a full day today. I had a customer where she got hit by a scam and her keyboard on her laptop couldn't be used, a USB keyboard wouldn't work and I couldn't do a simple refresh as the hard drive was locked. It took me 3-1/2hrs but I got everything fixed and didn't lose any of her documents or pictures on the computer. I took off 1115 infections of Malware on it after I got it so I could get into it. I hope I don't see another one like that for awhile.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

morning all. 44 and on the way into the mid 80s again. Sure is warm for Sept. in our part of the world. Very dry here too.
More baling and cutting done yesterday, and hay stacking too. Getting closer every day to being done. I think there are only about 4 more sprinkler circles to go. About 120 acres each. Unless the boss man drives around and sees more than I do.
Serviced the balers again yesterday afternoon and that was about it for the day.
Time to move along, prayers for all you back east with the flooding and rain.
Have a good day.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning,

Some cloud cover has moved in from the north and we only cooled to 66° overnight but expect to see temps in the mid to upper 80's again today here near Halfway USA. Hot & humid yesterday with the high getting to 89*°.

I got a couple errands done in the morning. That included picking up a new section of chimney flue. The afternoon found me on the roof & on top of the chimney replacing the last section of the flue. It cracked and needed to be replaced. My fault, I over tightened the cap/screen & heat/expansion broke it.

It wasn't difficult task but the mortar set up really fast so I was working quick to get the new flue set & plumb. Did I mention it was hot? Just a little clean up this morning & it'll be set for a while. Note to self, don't over tighten the cap. I did discover my chimney is already concrete lined so I won't need to go to the expense of installing a stainless steel chimney liner.

Grass needs to be cut today. Time to run the weed whacker around too.

Good morning folks. It's 75º here this morning with clouds. Flo has passed us, but not without dumping 2 inches of rain. It wasn't a steady rain, just the occasional downfall. Off and on stuff. Some minor flooding east of us. My roof leaked a bit into the great room, but no harm done. Only leaks when it pours. I think it's my ridge vent. Supposed to have a few passing showers this morning then start to clear off. Tomorrow is supposed to be really nice out. We shall see...

Miss Sue's still home from work. She's doing much better, still a little sore, but I've been taking good care of her. :) I think she's going to take the whole week off. My granddaughter Lillie has off school Friday and wants to come see Mimi. Tyler is supposed to come home too. I heard that Lillie talked to Tyler yesterday and told him all about shooting her gun with Pap. She said when he comes to visit this weekend they can both shoot their guns.:D

Well, work is crazy busy so I need to dig in and get it done. Have a good one.

Good morning, GoGo. It's 69 in Louisville, going to 91. Yep, back to the 90s and sunny for the next few days. We got less than 1/10 of an inch of rain yesterday from Flo. I talked with a friend in the Cincy area about 100 miles east of here and apparently he got a lot more.

Needed to replace my push mower, so I bought a self-propelled (rear) Lawn Boy yesterday. I really liked some things about the Toro brand a little more, but when you're buying used and can't wait forever you take what comes around. The seller, up in Southern Indiana, was a dead ringer for Charlie Manson, I swear. The mower has a Honda engine, started right up, and appears to have normal wear and tear, so I hope it gives me several years of good service.

Mike (MPC), I've been using Postimage.org to post photos here since that other big outfit (Photobucket?) went crazy and then apparently went belly up. Give it a look. It's pretty simple to use and I'd be willing to talk you through the basics by phone sometime if you want. About the only tricky part is deciding which link to use once you get a picture stored there. I use the one that says "Direct link." Then here on the green board as you're posting you click the little yellowish icon that looks like a photo and do a cut/paste to put your photo link there. We need to see those daylillies of yours.

Everyone have a good day and be safe out there.

Tuesday

Well, it ain't morning but it is still Tuesday. Just about reached the high for the day at 87 right now. We had lunch at a fairly new joint down the street called Whiskey Business. Been there several times and it's always been good. Today, the food was good but the service was sloooow. New wait chick who obviously preferred standing still behind the bar. But, I digress. Or distress. Or something.

Grandson had a college golf tournament yesterday. He was the co-medalist (low score) and made all conference in his second tournament. Don't look for him on TV any time soon, though. We're talking Junior College DIII, here. He shot even par.

Been curious about the .224 Valkyrie. More specifically an AR upper in the caliber. Who knows what about that?

Have a good rest of the day.

Better late than never, was muggy & foggy here this morning. Washed a load of 1x brass I received and laid it out to dry. Was sweating pretty good by 10am and it didn't get any better the rest of the day. I piddled on making an annealing stand as I want to try it over the winter time. Should have waited for winter to do this piddling, but it gave me a good excuse to consume the adult beverages that were approaching their expiration dates. One more to go as I type this.

I got the case holder stand made and pretty pleased with it, just waiting for the glue to dry for final assembly tomorrow. Still have to piddle with the torch stands but something to look forward to. LOL
