21° here in Upstate NY this morning, looks to be a decent day with the high temperature going to be up to about 40° again. Yesterday was nicer than they originally said.

I was on the road yesterday and that is what I will be doing today also. I got the Family Day for the gun club registered with the NRA yesterday. It will be a Brownell's/NRA special event so I will be getting a shipment of T shirts, lapel pins, etc. for the event.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Morning Gents! It looks like another pretty day in store. Its 48º and clear headed for the low 60's.

Not much going on today except to go check on the tractor and fuel it up. I'm not sure where all of this water is coming from! We may be draining a couple of ponds too! Everything is so flooded that we can't find the drains in a few of the ponds. They have to be under water. Those Beavers are sure efficient at stopping things up!

You'all have a good one.

Good Morning

21 here in NC Ohio with sun and upper 40's on the way. Plenty of things to do too keep me out of trouble today, choosing one to start with is the big stall. No GH' were injured while working outside yesterday, too cold for them and me. Might be better today. Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

Good morning everyone....looks like it will hit mid 40's here today. I looked over the bucket they sent and looks like it just need one of the 9" tubes cut out and a new one welded in...that should be easy enough.

I had to pull the alternator off my blazer yesterday, it seems at some point on the way to the shop or after I shut it off the rear bearing disappeared from the backside of it. I started it up to go to lunch and it was not a good sound. Lifetime warranty on a brand new one should outlast the truck I hope. I was going to get a reman. unit but figured for another $40 wth. I just have to put it back on as soon as it get light enough.

Well off to try to be somewhat productive!....my new fan did not come in yesterday so hopefully today it will show up on the big brown truck.

Have a good day!

morning all 22 here and should hit 60 before dark.
After chores and checking cows, I worked in the shop most of the day, can't seem to finish one project before the boss man wants something else fixed... now! And it won't be long before I need to be servicing all 31 sprinklers  Seems like I just got it done for last year
No coyotes seen yesterday, maybe today.
Have a great day and be safe. Prayers for the requested.
GOD BLESS. Dean

good morning folks. It's 31º here with bright sunshine on the way. The rain is over and it looks to be a very nice week from here on out. With the rain yesterday, I didn't get any wood split. I did get my breech plug tweaked for 209 primer fit and worked on the muzzleloader a bit when I got home. I even test fired it a few times. My bore sighting was close, I hit about where I was aiming offhand. I'll need to dial it in and start load workup next.

Have a little prayer request this morning. My bud's wife is having a rough go at work...might lose her job after 24 years. Also, I know there's one of our own here that needs some. He knows who he is. Prayers offered. Have a good one.

Great late out'a da barn morning folks,

Sunny & 24° with no wind this morning here near Halfway USA. Should get to the mid 40's today.

Errands checked off yesterday. Finance guys says we can keep having fun. Tax lady says she'll handle it. Cupboards restocked. Productive day. Stopped by Verizon to look at a phone upgrade & walked out with a new one.

Hanging around the Halfway House today. Me & the leaf blower are going to get familiar. Watch for the smoke & stop by for coffee if you're in the neighborhood.

Good morning from the Damcow farm in the sticks of Kentucky where it is a bright sunny day but cold at 31° to start the day.
Today the main job is to scatter Gold Dust on some fields and go get another load to spread if I have time. But feed cows and cats are FIRST on the menu. Judy Brown will be going to spend the day with her mom and that is taking care of all her needs, not just sitting there. Rough.
MPC, I haven't seen any Groundhogs yet either, but i am watching for them. I have a cage set, and I'm going to try to capture one alive. Maybe bring it to JB for a house pet.

SKRUSKE has a new phone to play with! And a docking port charger to boot.. He's a high tech dude, but I'm catching up fast. I bought my first Smartphone a couple months ago and Got the wireless charger to go with it now. But I am not allowed to be on Facebook at the request of Capt. Jesse. He says ....not jokingly....that I would get him kicked out of the army since the NSA would link my page to his page.

There was a sale last week where some Hay sold for 88 dollars a roll and outside hay went for $50
That's a Recipie for losing a lot of money. I would sell all the Damcows before I will do that. Crazy prices for hay since the grass isn't growing and the rain season ruined a lot of hay.
Off to feed the Damcows.

Morning gang, still just 36 headed to mid 50's today at this late check in! I have to mend some fence today, then take mom to a docs appointment today in Somerset today. I hate going to docs, just a by product of my own experience as of late, go wait in the office or room for an hour, for them to see you maybe 10 minutes. Prayers sent for all that need them, Buff out!

40º and sunny in the hollow this morning. Going to the upper 50's later. Not a big day planned, waiting for a copier repairman. Couple of service stops after he leaves and except for some reloading that's it. Sad to hear about the demise of the BBB. It was the BBB that drug me into the world of benchrest shooting seventeen years and many $$ ago. No complaints as it's been a lot of fun. Hope someone can step up and keep it going. I'm considering something similar for the new MTSA Dry Branch range, but have far too much to do to consider it this year.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Tuesday

Good late morning all. It's sneaking up on 30 in Indy and should creep up to middle 40s. Had a lot of world problems to solve over pancakes and coffee this morning so I'm late getting here.

After the world was made safe, the intellectuals among us (that would be me) turned our thoughts to poetry and I was obliged to offer some info about one of my favorite poets, Wallace Mcrae. Thought I'd share some of his work with y'all. If you scroll down a bit you'll find one of his best, "Reincarnation". http://www.cowboypoetry.com/mcrae.htm

Got my fingers crossed that some version of the BBB happens.

Prayers for those in need, on and off the board.

Have a good day.
