I bet we've got some folks here who might have been CB'ers back in the day. CB radio was huge back in the 70's and I had both the base station and once I got my first truck, had one in there as well. Started with a Midland base and basic ground plane antenna, soon moved in to a Royce SSB base and rotating 3 element beam antenna.
We all remember CW McCall and "Convoy", and perhaps "The White Knight". There were some pretty good album cuts from both of those folks, a couple from the latter follow.

I'm not sure this next one would ever get on the airwaves today. Wasn't real popular even when it came out but I think in today's PC world, this would be a no-go.

That brought a smile
1976 a guy I knew brought over a Midland with alligator clips and we stuck it my 69 Camaro for a 4 hour road trip. We were running 80 mph + with a bunch of truckers. We thought were were pretty cool. That was about the time they were running the gumball Rally from NY to LA

Here is my pick for the week.
