I've been listening to this guy since the late 70's; he passed last fall but was still performing from what I can find. There a quite a few videos of him live back around 79-80.

Great piece of music here, without ever saying a single word. Camera is a little shaky but she nails it.

The Mavericks aren't my favorite group but their lead singer, Raul Malo, has a great voice. I think I like this version better than the original one by the Hollies.

OK @CTKenagen I'm gonna Rouge Nape trash it up again. We were talking about Junior Brown once... THIS Fella here..Dallas Moore, is similiar. First time I ever heard This Track, I immediately thought of Junior Brown.

Country Music has Changed... I Never Changed....i still like the Same music. Only wussy crap on the country radio now.

This Feller is coming to Bowling Green next month. Jest sayin.

I can see where it would bring Junior to mind; the second one instantly brought Waylon to mind for me.
I agree with your opinion of today's country. Very few of them catch my ear when I happen to flip my car radio to the local popular country station. Can't even call it country anymore the line has been so blurred. Just 'cause they're wearing a cowboy hat doesn't make it country.
