I bought a Savage MKII 22LR used about six months ago, it had a little crack in the stock and I fixed that. I started shooting this little 16 inch barreled tack driver with CCI SV at 50 yards, it will shoot less than 1" groups. Wednesday this week I bought another used Savage Model 62, the Walmart special, I took it apart and cleaned the barrel and action, I got to looking and found a can of Krylon camo tan and painted the stock. I was watching some youtube videos and if mine will shoot as good groups as what I've been watching I'll be a happy camper. If this Mod 62 had the Accu-Trigger like the MKII that would be great.

Sounds like you found a good pair. I bought my oldest Granddaughter a Savage Bolt 22lr for her birthday a few years ago as she liked to shoot with me. Now she is expecting her third child, so it doesn't get used much, or I should say at all.
