Like the idea of sharing stories BUT, I don't own a "smart" phone, don't know how to use a "smart" phone, can't make me learn how to use a "smart" phone. Frankly, I think there should be a law against them because most folks with them can't be too smart and get themselves into problems.....like driving into a school bus, walking into poles, etc because they have these things shoved into their face 24/7/365. Yeah, I still have a flip phone. It's a phone, not the Holy Grail with life's answer on it. Now, back to your regularly scheduled stories.

i hate people that can't get their face out of the phone...and the mind numbing shit they do on them.
i do use mine alot but i'm not addicted to it !...it is a useful tool if you use it has such.

It's pretty danged amazing, maybe even a little scary, what those phones are capable of doing. My old breakfast buddy (85) has a flip phone that is just a phone and he will often ask me "does your phone know (this or that)". It always knows as long as the wifi at the restaurant is working. I go to Lincoln Square Pancake House 6 days a week. On Sunday I go to Yia Yai's House of Pancakes (same owner, 5 miles farther away). When I get in the truck Mon-Sat the phone tells me how far it is to Lincoln Square and how long it will take to get there. On Sunday I get the same info on Yia Yia's. When I leave there the phone tells me how far it is to Rural King. What's interesting about that is I never use the phone as a GPS and never ask for the info. It knows more about me than Santa Claus. I'd better watch out, it's tellin' me why! I guess the phone is raggin' me about being a creature of habit. No telling what technology will be available even 10 years from now or how it will intrude into our lives.

the wife and me were talking about coal and where it could be bought to to burn in a heating stove..i didn't know so i texted a buddy about it..next day coal burning stove's were on my u-tube feed.....was is the phones or computers listening ? all of them ? land lines have mic's to ? so do newer cars...point being we are neck deep in technology and there's no Escape without complete grid cutoff.

There is a tracking app running in your phone and/or computer! The "papers" trail insisted upon by the Gestapo in in WW-II Germany was NOTHING compared to what/where and who you call and what internet sites you visit you're cell phone is reporting - far as you're comings and goings are concerned!

for what it's worth no need for a smart phone that site can be accessed from computer or tablet all ya need is a g-mail account to get g+

I accessed it from my tablet, I will try it with one of my computers. I use Gmail for our club email so later today I will try it. I just use a flip phone as all I care about is being able to make a call or receiving a call on my phone.
