Weatherby riflescope

A local shop has a like new Weatherby riflescope that is 3-9X40. I can find no model # or anything showing where it was made. Does anyone know who made these scopes for Weatherby? This is a newer scope, not one of the old ones that had both adjustments on top. This one is side and top adjustments. A friend at work says they were made in Germany. Any info?
