33° here in Upstate NY this morning under clear starry skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 43°. It will be a pretty nice sunny day with a 5 to 7mph breeze and no precipitation.

Yesterday I was on the road till early afternoon, longer than I expected but that was alright. The rest of the day I spent doing some paperwork and some other work I had to do here. Today I am going to take it as it comes, I will probably be on the road for part of the day.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca, it's clear and 23, high about 41, yippee.
The funeral was sad, it's tough loosing someone before their time.
I got a mystery box in the mail, I was expecting it might be the pre production Tru Line Jr press, nope. It is some kind of tiny turret press. It is missing the base and I am still puzzling over how it works and for what caliber. Of course, there is no idea who made it.
This morning is a doctor appointment in Owattona for my wife, she and her friend want to stop by Kohls, I need to swing by Caribou for coffee. No time for Cabelas.
We need to be at her ex's at 2pm for a social worker.
Hope everyone has a great day,
Ken

Great morning for us too early risers,

24.8° with a hazy sky but the stars are visible here near HalfwayUSA. We should see a high near 45°

I am bowling 50/50 with the collection agencies. One knows the money train ended. The other is less than cooperative and refuses to accept any information via phone conversation. I will mail appropriate documents and demand they stop automatically withdrawing their payment.

The obit is written & sent to the funeral home for publication.

And I spent two hours filling in an application to probate court to be appointed a Personal Representative. I am about 1/2 way through the multi pages of forms. Had to look up some fancy law words to provide some of the answers. Google is a good tool for that.:giggle:

Debra Dearest needs to be escorted today & I get that pleasurable duty. Nothing too fancy, just some shopping. I do hope that late today I can make a quick trip to Graying to pick up old hunting partner's cremated remains & take him for one more ride. It appears he will reside in our Halfway House until Spring thaw.

Ya know Donnie, a fella can get a lot accomplished in the middle of what most people call night. I go on 4-5hrs sleep most days & 2am is sometimes simply the start of the morning. <shrugs>

Good morning from NC Ohio 30 going to 55 absolute beautiful weather. I have today and tomorrow to get some things done outside while its nice. Hope everyone has wonderful family dinners tomorrow, me I'll be here myself and turkey is not on the menu!! More than likely, it will be a thick steak on the grill. A tragedy happened here in Marion country, a lady with 4 kids in a van went off the road into a pond and I didn't hear whether they survived or not. A little Prayer would help. Be safe my friends Prayers to all and country. Mike

morning all. 2 above with low 40s and some wind in the afternoon, chance of snow tonight and tomorrow.
Worked in the shop all afternoon yesterday, got a gate hung in the morning after chores were done, seems to take longer everyday for
chores. Not sure what today will bring but need to work on the feeding pickup again.
Not much else going on this time of year.
Have a good day and be safe. Prayers for those with needs and health issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning Everyone!

Its 43º and cloudy here headed for the low 60's. We have chances for rain starting late this afternoon and tomorrow.

Yesterday was my first day of freedom after 5 days of lockdown! I met my running buddy at the brewery for lunch, made a pharmacy run and got my Deer picked up from the meat market. That was enough to get me good and tired.

Todays plan is to meet an old buddy at a new Police Supply Shop in a nearby town and browse. Probably have lunch before I come home.

I guess I jumped time, my Wife informed me that Monday was our 47th Anniversary, not 48. Didn't mean to lie to you guys!

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

Good morning folks. It was 38 when I left the house, but 26 in town??? Going to 55 or so today. It's HUMP DAY too, but actually the last day of work for me until Monday. Just gotta make it through today. Off Friday and deer season starts in PA and MD on Saturday. I'll be playing guide, as usual. I worked at the shop last night, little slow again. Hopefully it picks up for them for Christmas. Need to get crackin' on butchering ole Bucky. I think I'll start de-boning tonight and maybe finish up on Friday. Supposed to rain then anyway. Looks like Saturday will be nice. I sure hope so.

Gotta run. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

upper 20s with clear skies on the way to the low 60s. Going to be a nice day in Middle TN. Main accomplishment yesterday was the drive to Dry Branch with an orientation and a good visit with the new member. As I was leaving the parking lot I got a call from another potential new member, so I'll be making the same drive for the same reason this morning. Fortunately, I have little of importance to do so taking in some more $$ for the club works well. I do intend to carry my toy along and get a barrel break in done. I'm trying some reformed 22 PPC brass and some old, recut 220 Russian. Maybe they both shoot well, maybe neither. Who knows? Either tonight or in the morning I plan to make my first batch of Cowboy Caviar for my sister's Thanksgiving get together. My extended family isn't adventuresome when it comes to food, so I may bring most of it back home.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
Let's go Brandon!!!

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo! At 0850 it's 26 in Louisville, going to 59 and sunny. Up to 65 tomorrow with a 50% chance of rain coming in around 9 or 10 p.m.

Nothing much to report just now. I attended a meeting of my Old Quartet last evening at Roosters and it was a good time. Cindy's 12-year-old (going on 19) niece spent the night with us and I have to shuttle her to Cindy's salon this morning. Can't remember if she's getting a pedicure or nail polish, but at her age anything like that is a pretty big deal and fun.

Charlie must have written his morning post via cellphone, cause we got no Hump Day graphic. Tell you what, Charlie, I'll cover for you. That's the kind of guy ol' Mikey is. Ha! We'll start off with one for Skruske and JR. I'm not positive this qualifies as plaid, but it's sure attractive.

Now, here's one for Doug.

And here are a couple for me!

May update this post later if I work up enough energy to really do anything today. Y'all have a good one, be safe and remember to pray for our friends here and for our nation.

Good morning all. I am still trying to recover after not eating much all day for my PET scan. Will have to go and do my PT soon. Nothing else planned for today, fortunately. Since it is the two of us for Thanksgiving, I have been informed our dinner tomorrow will be shrimp, not turkey. Sounds wonderful to me.

Like Mike said, a nice day that will prob break 60° and NO wind so far.
My VA hearing aids were put in motion y'day, stop by a Bud's place, White Castles on the trip home and a stop in at the mech/neighbor. The tractor dealerships want anywhere from $1200 to $1800 for the installed 3rd function kit. They are less than $600 from a specialty house. Neighbor said he seldom put more than 45 mins into one when he worked for Kubota!! Hoses, valve, fittings and clamps are included. I feel l can muddle my way through it. If not, mech bud is just down the road who uses my range, deer hunts in Dinah's woods and has been cutting wood out of same for years for his outdoor furnace gizzie. ;) I'm starting to get a bit excited.
The frame size is one step up if not 1.5 heavier giving about 1200# more w/o loaded rears. Higher gpm hyd w another 500# bucket lift. R4 instead of turf.......a REAL 35hp force to be reckoned with... You can stop laughing Dean and Toiville. ;) :) It is amazing how handy one of those Compacts are. It even has a cup holder - Woo Hoo. The utility, barn yard tractor on the family farm is the 100 hoss 4020. Different scale of use for sure.
Deb got new wheels, Scott a diff/new? truck n camper, Charlie a boat, Julie a p/u, Sam a meat hauler, JR and yours truly cruising.....how much more Patriotic can we get?!!? We be stimulating the economy to a fare thee well. (Anyone hear a Sousa march?)
Time to put up my knife sharp apparatus. Get chairs out and start configuring the basement for the TG gathering. Schedule conflicts have nubbed the attendance to around 16, which is well down from the 40+ last year.
Time to get w the (her) program. Tom out

39° and foggy this morning. It was not a fun morning yesterday. I hit a deer. Now I drive an 08 F450 so only the all steel bumper took the hit. It was a buck with a descent rack. I was headed out of town to hang an exterior door for the sider. Highway 22 was heavy with morning traffic. The poor deer never had a chance. There was no where to swerve to and slamming on the brakes would have gotten me rear ended. The last I saw in the side mirror was it sliding on its side across several lanes of traffic and go under a small car. There was no going back in that crazy commuter traffic. Not the way I want to take a deer. Since having kids stuff like this bothers me more than it use to. What if that had been a human?
well on a higher note one daughter is coming over to bake with the wife today and both daughters will be here in the morning with two little ones for the Thanksgiving day parade.

Drip, drip, drip. Got my lab work and scan yesterday and then early this morning saw my oncologist.
Prognosis was no change in size of cancer. Not ^ not smaller. Keep on same protocol for 2 more months.
So, here I sit doing another 3 hour chemo treatment.
He told me could stop till after 1st of year and then resume. Enjoy the holiday season etc., because he couldn’t guarantee me Christmas next year. I laughed at him and told him I was more concerned at dying in a car wreck, with wifey driving me to OKC every week … lol. Yeah, she gave me a dirty look.
Son had a close call yesterday evening, He got on the skid steer, unhooked the bucket. and went to the auger to go dig a big hole in our “pet cemetery “. DIL had to put her dog down. He drive the thing north of my house to bluff overlooking river. He dropped the auger down and went to turn it on. In his hurry to dig the hole, he had forgot to latch the locks on the auger attachment. When the auger engaged it came loose and came thru the front of the skid steer and landed in his lap and across his legs. he was pinned in and had to phone for help. Carl and Katie got there and finally got it off him and got him out. Trip to ER in Elk City showed no broken bones, but lots of abrasions and bruises,

He was really lucky. It could have been a lot worse. He said he was pretty sore this morning.
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all.
