23° here in Upstate NY with the wind still blowing and still a little snow coming down. The high temperature for today will be about 30°. It will start turning off sunny today with a wind 15 to 18mph and gusts up to 30mph.

Yesterday it never really snowed hard just light snow all day, I am not sure how much we got all together. The wind was horrible all day long and I didn't go out any more than necessary. I got one computer fixed yesterday, had two calls for more work, today the first thing I have to do is get the snow cleared up around here.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Waseca where it's cloudy, windy (30mph from the south)and 32 degrees. High of 40. I did stay home yesterday and did accomplish something, yay.
Today I need to go over to Galen's and get two short swords that belong to the oldest boy. We will see him tomorrow and I have several items for him.
Not much else exciting,
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday,
Ken

Good Morning from SC PA!

Really windy all night! We're starting at 31 degrees this morning, eventually reaching a high of 48 but it won't feel that warm because the wind should continue most of the day. Hopefully it tapers off. Should be sunny but windy this afternoon.

Not much else to report. Scouts was good last night. We were able to get a board of review done for two of the boys. Stopped and saw my folks and they're all right. The machinist never called about the scope ring screws. Hope to hear something from him today.

Good day to work and stay out of the wind. Have a great day everybody!

26 and blowing but not snowing, we'll probably see the mid 30's today. Looks like we've picked up another 3, maybe 4" of snow as the storm pulled away. I know what I'll be doing this morning, and this afternoon I'll probably be shoveling my roof. Not unexpected and with relatively warm weather coming for the next few days (mid to upper 40's) it will be the smart thing to do. Lot of weight up there.
Didn't sleep well last night; even parking in front of the stove didn't help much. I'll sure sleep tonight, I guarantee ya.
Hope you all have a good day.

Great morning folks,

Chilly just before sunrise with 46° under a clear sky here in Grandkidville. Only getting to 60° today.

today is moving day. We are heading into Georgia somewhere to a campground with Zac & family. Debra Dearest is tour director this trip & I am the designated driver. So I will going where I'm told. We will be in that campground until Sunday morning but not in the same spot. We do have to move at least once.

Thankfully that is an easy task with the truck camper as we pretty much exist in a small footprint.

morning all. 35 with mid to upper 50s today and windy, dirt will move. BUT big storm coming in tonight, could last thru Monday, might even
get some moisture as in snow drifts in all the roads but we'll take what we get, it's really DRY!!!
Only three calves born on the place yesterday, guess their waiting for the nasty weather.
Worked some in the shop yesterday, getting the little red tractor serviced up, this is the first time for this one. Trying to get all the filter numbers so
I can put them in my book, makes ordering parts easier if every thing is written down and handy.
Saw three coyotes yesterday morning but no shots taken. Maybe today.
Time to move along, have a Happy Hump Day and be safe and warm. Prayers for those with issues and those traveling.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Morning gang, it's 24* here and going to the mid 40's later. It snowed all day yesterday not much on the ground, but the wind blew and didn't get to 30*. I did stop by the gunshith's shop yesterday and pick up a couple of plastic buffer spacers for my S&W 22A &S models, I cleaned them the other day and they needed replaced. I guess that is all for now, you all have a good and safe one today. God Bless,

Looks like Doug ran out of primers for his keyboard.

Good morning folks. It's 29 here down the road from El Cheapo, but I concur, it's damn cold and windy. OK was only slightly warmer than PA when I left. PA had to go and get colder now that I'm back. I didn't notice any redbuds blooming here but my apricot is in blossom. There will be no apricots this year with this cold. The squirrels will have to wait for my peaches. Speaking of which, I haven't seen any of the little bastards for awhile. I'm sure they'll show as the weather warms up. I worked at the gun shop last night, not really busy, but did sell a couple guns. Went home and did NOTHING and actually went to bed early, but didn't sleep well. Need to get some coffee in me here soon. Better git.

Have a good one!

It was 25° when I left home this morning but the thermometer at work says 19. Spent yesterday evening tending the fire and went to bed early. Need to stop by after work and look at my ex-brother-in-law’s furnace. Not sure what I’m getting into but I’ll give it my best shot. He’s a good guy and I don’t get to see him much anymore. He is retired and joined the gun club last year so hopefully he will come out of hibernation when the weather warms up.
Gotta run. Make it a good day.

And now for the good news. The eight or nine white tails that have been in and out of the backyard, deck, and orchard have moved on to drinking gin. The neighbor has, maybe had, two ten foot tall junipers that his wife paid one thousand dollar each for two years ago. She had a nursery drive 50 miles each way to plant them and all that stuff. Oh, she had “professional” arborists out last year and trimmed them to spiral shapes. Well, the herd went over there Monday night and stripped them all the way up to about six feet up. Just the way nature intended them to be trimmed. She is fit to be tied. And he is too. when she ain’t happy, nobody’s happy. She wants every deer in the county hunted down and shot. Gin is made from juniper, among other things, so I assume these deer are gin drinkers. With the temperature at 17 degrees right now, it still isn’t Redbud weather here yet. And we still have better than six inches of snow and ice on the ground so stay in Grandkidsville, Scott. I’ll let you know when it’s safe to come back north.

GM from the Cold sticks of Kentucky at 22° under bright sunshine heading Up fast.
@CTKenagen be careful up on that Roof. I may shovel my roof later when it gets up bout 50°. Here. Is a news story for You.
I didn't even know UK had a Hockey team. Nor does no one else....it's all Hero worship of colored boys that dribble in their shorts.

Francisco, that is interesting news. You must have some Affluent neighbors to have Saplings like those. You may be interested in the Hockey report also.

My little wider lady neighbor just called and reported that she let her 2 great Pyrenees dogs out of the house about midnight (after they were trying to tear thru the door) after a large Coyote in the front yard. She reported they came back all bloody and it wasn't theirs. She thinks they killed the Coyote but I doubt it, but they are capable.
Widder lady ain't "actually" she just ran off husband #5, and may be looking again. @MRC you game?? Her motor is Purring.

JB has buzzed...off to Monticello to play w the quiltin ladies, so Sam...it's Your day to Watch her.
I pulled the trigger on those Small Pistol primers last night about Midnight and ordered 5K since they dropped the price at American Reloading.
Skruske sent me photos of a large stock of Primers in a Store at $130 per Thousand.
You folks have a safe day and stay off your Roofs.

Morning all. Breakfast is done and getting ready for my PT soon. This afternoon is my appointment with my oncologist, to do labs test and see how my anemia is doing. I am sure he will give me more shots for that also. The new opthamologist was good yesterday. He thought I was doing okay, eye wise, and I scheduled another visit in September. Be safe and keep warm. It is sunny, 19F right now and expected to get near 50F later this afternoon.

Good morning everyone,
A chilly 57 heading to mid 70's.

Todays plan is going to the range I even pulled out the Labradar yesterday made sure the external battery was charged up . Loaded a handful of 6x47 Lapuas . It is shooting these 60+ grainers like a house a fire producing some tiny tiny 5 shots groups very consistently. I also loaded a handful of 80 grainer flat base to try time will tell if they stabilize it would be nice but I have my doubts. It's a slow twist.

Well I need to finish my chores then off to the range . Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be back in the 80's 😁.

Everyone play nice , stay warm ,cool depending on your location. Have a gooden day.

A sunny cold morning, 30 heading to 52. JR I will keep a eye out for JB but I dont know about them wild quiltin wimmens. The wife and I are heading to town in a few, pick up box spring, matress and head board and frame we bought to take out to the farm, the old bed has seen better days. I plan on spending quite a bit more time out there this year, enjoying the land and the river more. Going to load some more ammo later this afternoon, and church for bible study this evening. I plan on shooting some more tomorrow, try 4 tweaked loads in the 6.5 Manbun. I think the added adjustable cheek piece will help it. I recently got 3 Kydex cheek pieces, with screws and speed knobs on Amazon, for $11.73 each shipped to my door. They are good quality. I cant shoot anything without a good cheek weld. You all have a good one, prayers for those that need them, Buff out.

Morning Everyone!

Its 37º and Sunny here headed for the mid 50's with a lite SE wind.

Yesterday was a busy day. Took the Wife to a Doctor's appointment yesterday morning, Stopped by Sam's Club, stopped by the Pharmacy, got home for a few hours and then picked the Granddaughter up after school and took Her to gymnastics. My running buddy sent me pictures of the beer list at the brewery and I sent him a picture of the front of the Doctor's clinic! Friends.................

Not much planned for today. I may meet my Wet Wednesday group tonight. They rotate going to about 6 different places and I haven't been in a while.

JR, I don't know how you delivered the mail in icy conditions. You get off of the crown of the road you're just asking to get stuck or to end up with your car up against the mailbox. You get a certain amount of traction on snow but mostly what we get here is ice. You can't even walk on it.

Kentucky Fisherman, I use capitols for all 3 of those reasons! I would say that its just 2 but we all know better! ;)

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

25 in the hollow when the sun came over the ridge to the east. Right now it's 34 and could get to 50 with the sun shining. Missed the past two days, Monday with route and prep for the club meeting, Tuesday with several small items and a trip to the VA hospital to visit my firend and club secretary Ron. He is in his 4th bout with cancer. This time it's the lung variety and the chemo has damaged his colon. He hasn't put anything in his stomach since last Thursday and is being fed through a couple of ports to allow his colon to heal without surgery. Says he feels good since he's out of pain from the chemo. Expects to come home on Friday. We have another club member, who does all the cleanup and odd jobs at the range, having bypass surgery for blocked arteries. He seems to be recovering well right now. I guess that's what you get when dealing with a bunch of old men. Francis, I sort of sympathize with your neighbor. I planed three dogwoods about a month ago and now two have been destroyed by a whitetail buck who apparently still has antlers and wants to fight. I love the deer, but they can present problems. Our sit down with the problem child match director had mixed results. He can't hear and has multiple cognitive issues, so it was difficult, at best, to communicate with him about the problems and complaints. We compromised with an agreement that he would not be match director and shoot in the same matches. It was a decision that left no one satisfied completely, so I guess it was the best at the time. We will be buying his investment in the steel challenge targets and I'm sure this isn't over.
I guess that's enough for now.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
