37° here in Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature will only be up to about 50°. I will turn off to sunny skies with a wind of 10 to 16mph, we are supposed to get a hard frost tonight.

Yesterday I was on the road for the morning and then in the afternoon I had to help a couple of customers over the phone. This morning I will be on the road once again and then I hope to take it easy this afternoon.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

49° here this morning and they say we will reach 70 with plenty of sunshine later today. Yesterday was Kentucky’s primary election and Daniel Cameron received the Republican no Omarion for Governor. I predict Democrat Andy Beshear is re-elected this November.
Gun club meeting last night was uneventful but we did shoot a couple rounds of trap beforehand.
The big news of the day is that a purchase has been made. The local Kioti dealer has a spring sales event going on and offered a $2500 cash rebate on a new CS2200 so I should have a new one here on Monday with a front loader bucket, belly mower and box blade. It’ll be used mostly for cutting grass and moving firewood.

When I was in my 40’s with 2 teenage boys at home, I wouldn’t have considered buying one. Now that I’m nearly 60 and they’ve moved out, I think it’s a smart move. I suspect it will be much cheaper to feed than those boys.
One more cup of coffee on my way out the door. Make it a good day.

Mornin boys...
60 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Storm, with a twister, came through yesterday evening. Damaged 1 school I know of and a lot of trees went down along the roads. Didn't do much here at the house.
Hard telling what I'll be into today. They called school off today but 12 month employs shows up. I bet this will be the end of the school year for'em. They say a chance of rain through the week I think.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

Good morning from calm Waseca, no storms. High about 75 today. Yesterday turned into another work day at Galen's. We slept good last night, from being too tired.
Today is packing and getting all the last minute stuff wrapped up before leaving for Colorado in the morning. My daughter is stopped to make arrangements for cat care.
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday,
Ken

Good Morning from SC PA!
Today we're starting off at 56 degrees and heading to a high of only 66. Temperatures are dropping this week with a chance of frost tomorrow morning. Today will be sunny and beautiful. Hope to get out of work a little early and enjoy it!

Stopped and visited my folks a while last night, then went to Scouts. We put flags on veteran's graves at two small cemeteries in preparation for Memorial day. Next week we have one more cemetery to do and that should be it. Dad wants to get out golfing but with Mom's condition it's hard for him to get away. I told him maybe if we get out early we can get 9 holes in before she wakes up? We'll see.

Last night was unusual in that no mice or rats were harmed. I checked twice and didn't see anything. I find it inconceivable that I got them all. Make it a great day everybody!

morning all. 45 with mid 70s and breezy, very slight chance of moisture.
Got another new calf yesterday and another kid goat for the FIL, both cows and goats should be almost done for this year on new babies.
Worked on sprinklers most of the day, got water to one and got it started, mostly cleaning weeds out of the ditches.
Good Bible study last night again.
Not sure what today will bring but chores take up most of the mornings. Hope to fire off a few rounds today.
Have a happy Hump day and be safe. Prayers for those with needs and issues.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning folks

72° with hazy clouds and going to 90° later here in Grandkidville.

The painting is finally done. Deb & I spent a bunch of time doing some detailing of things. The divided window pane door is not a work of perfection but at least it is not a distraction.

Today's fun task, load up the scrap metal that my son accumulated & haul it to the metal recycler.

Later today we'll load up the trailer & my truck with stuff to go north. I think we may be north bound in the morning. Still not sure.

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo. At 0729 it's a cool 55 degrees outside, clear and going to 78. Should be a beautiful day. We had 2-3 periods of gully-washer rain yesterday, but none of the dangerous weather that was expected. I think the nasty stuff shifted a couple hundred miles southeast, to Donnie's area.

Miss Cindy and her mom got back from their Texas trip about 5:30 p.m. yesterday and I picked them up at the airport. They had a good visit with family in the Dallas area, but Cindy was ready to be back home.

Today I'll have lunch with some former singing comrades. I'm also due to get some wheat delivered, so I'll be able to test out the chain tensioner I added to my 12v battery-powered grinder. I called the local Whole Foods store and a Rainbow Blossom yesterday and both said they usually carry wheat, but had none right now. I'm not sure what to read into that, maybe nothing. It certainly seems available via Amazon, Walmart and other online stores.

Carl, that lawn tractor looks like a dandy. I'd love to see what it takes to pop that bucket off and on, and what you have to do to replace blades. I have a good friend up your way who has a slightly bigger tractor and it seems like he's frequently having the dealer come pick it up for one kind of servicing or another.

Y'all have a great day, be safe, and let's remember to pray for our friends here who have needs. Sounds like the folks in Donnie's area could use our prayers after the tornado.

Good morning folks. It's a chilly, but beautiful day here. Colder tonight. Last night I worked at the shop. It was dead again. After dinner I ran the trash down to the end of the drive and took advantage of the cool weather and spread some of the wood chips I had left from brush chipping and I pulled weeds in one flowerbed so I can spread the rest of the chips. Worked until nearly dark. Slowly getting chores caught up, but then new ones spring up! I just have to get a coat of stain on the house this year. Starting to get dried out in the sun pretty bad!

Happy HUMP DAY Carpman! Looks like you forgot! Don't worry, I got ya...one for me...

Morning Everyone!

Its 66º and cloudy here headed for the upper 70's with a lite NE wind.

I met a couple of buddies at the brewery for lunch yesterday. My financial adviser and long time friend recently retired and has been joining us. I started going after I retired and now there are 4 of us. The girls at the bar love it! A bunch of old guys that flirt with them and then over tip! The Wife and I picked the Granddaughter up after school and took Her to gymnastics yesterday afternoon.

We have a few chores to do this morning and then the Wife has some shopping to do. So I'll be driving "Miss Daisy" around this afternoon.

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country. Special prayers offered for those effected by the storms.

Y'all have a good one.

Good morning ,

67 headed to 71 with a little wind. Last night a few thunderstorms rolled through. I have always enjoyed laying in bed and watching the lightning flashes to fall asleep.

Neck is starting to improve between a heating pad and a traction device that pulls your head up and takes the weight off the cervical vertebrae and nerve. It must be doing something. Nothing more than a crick in the neck now. For 3-4 nights it was no sleep.

Carl you will enjoy your new toy . It will come in very handy. I've had a Kubota compact for 25 years . It has well paid for itself for yard work. Just the other day I snapped a photo of the Mrs getting a load of top soil. I've been fortunate so far. Out of 25 years 1 fan belt , and day before yesterday I replaced the 1 st hydraulic hose on the front end loader.
Y'all have a good day.

GM from the sticks of Kentucky and 56° bright and sunny. @hedgehoghunter I would like to borrow the tractor driver Mrs. For hay season. Judy Brown is seemingly always on a "Detail" and she is getting more frail by the day. How do Dean and I escape from This???
@Ken if we were closer, I would be the Cat Sitter and that gun show event will be great.
Hump Day photos are getting Rather Sparce...Sports Illustrated has a TRANS Man/Woman in the issue, but I won't post That.

If anyone needs cheap .22 ammo, get to Wal-Mart as they have a RedTag Promotion on Federal Auto-Match for $18.95 for 325. Only for a few more Days.
JB is a Hoarder, so go Quickly or she will buy all of them.
Font Material property Bumper Rectangle Auto part

That's much better than $50 last year.
No "Tuesday Tunes" those week??
I need to go do something even if it's wrong...so have a safe day and come by and we will shoot Sam @koger .22 off the front porch.

Morning all, 62 headed to hi 70's today, sun is shining and clear. Got a lot done yesterday, but felt like I was spinning my wheels for the most part. I need to get the cultivator off of the ford tractor, and pressure wash it for the guy coming to fix it tomorrow. May get out and shoot a couple of .357 revolvers I have had for some time and not fired, I am ashamed for the neglect. You all have a great day, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out.

Mid 60s with clouds in the hollow. "public work" is probably done for the week, but there's plenty left to do. Interesting that we're talking tractors and such today. I bought a 60" cut Bad Boy about 5 years ago and it's been a good one. But now and then I get "issues" with various parts of the electrical system. Most seems to have originated at the factory with poor connections. The other day while cutting the grass it just stopped and all electric functions shut down completely. After a talk with the local dealer I determined it was a fuse connected to the electric clutch. Fuse replaced and blown again. Turns out the bolt that keeps the clutch from turning is gone and it ripped out the pigtail that connects to the blown fuse. This morning I plan to replace that and see what the next item will be. I've noticed in my long life that things tend to go fairly smooth for a while followed by a string of minor and major catastrophes. We are currently in the second phase. The latest is a sunken patio that needs to be raised. The ground underneath wasn't properly compacted twenty years ago when we built the house and now I get to pay. Damage to my purse will be just under $3500. One of those tractors would be fun, but I mowed my grass with a similar for the first few years here. Even with turf tires it was hard on the ground. Better stick with the Bad Boy for now.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Only a lot of trees and a bit of stuff on the roof. Better than loss of life and structural for sure. Closing early could really screw things up. Good teachers have the schedule pretty well mapped out to prep tha l'il darlings for the next grade.
Nice morning here, no rain yday that counted. A cool evening watching the pup destroy a hvy duty chew toy. Dinah overnighted in Indy as dil had an early Dr appt. Pup and l totally unsupervised.
VA appt for me this afternoon. Need to get out and make sure the pup n patio are present or accounted for.

Miss Judy, you get the lron Woman award.
Every year you show up and your efforts are always, absolutely First Place.
I thank you.

Morning all. Well, when it rains it pours,as the saying goes. Just getting used to the new meds, and I catch Covid. tested positive yesterday and checked it again today. So, my oncologist visit is put off or another week, can't take Paxlovid because of the other heart meds I'm and the oncology nurse said to stop the new meds for a week also. Hope there is a decent movie on TV this afternoon. Be safe.
