58° here in Upstate NY this morning under fair skies, the high temperature for today will be up to about 73°. It will be a sunny day with a 70% chance for rain later this afternoon and a 8 to 13mph wind.

I was on the road for a good part of the day yesterday, but it was a good day with no major problems. Today I am not sure what I am going to be doing, I am hoping it will be a slow one, but time will tell.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Mornin boys...
51 here high on RUGER Mt this morning.
Nother day at the grind. Not sure what I'll be into other than replacing a panic bar. Old solid brass 1 that ain't been made in 50 or so years I'd guess. Parts inside are all brass, I've had to braze some of'em up and file back down to get'em to work. They have about all been replaced with newer stuff but I still have some around.
You all have a gooden today and GOD Bless...

44 going to the low 70's with a front coming through with maybe a thunderstorm or 2 later this afternoon. Yesterday we looked at outdoor railing jobs, one easy and one not so easy. Both are fairly close to the shop so convenient but one will have to be a total field project done on site.
Today I'm not sure what's going to develop but I'm sure something will; lots of things going on.
After work I grabbed the rods and went fishing; simply slayed the panfish and had a great time. Tossed them all back for another time.
Long weekend coming up and the weather looks good. Reminding everyone now to remember the reason for the upcoming day. It's called Memorial Day for a reason. Take a moment to think about that and be sure to remind some others that need a lesson on why this day is so important.
Beyond that, I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning from back home in Waseca. It's 54 and partially cloudy, high about 79. Should be a great day. Uneventful drive home yesterday, was nice to get her and find out my door key is the wrong one. Called my daughter and she sent the granddaughters to let us in.
Feels good to be back in my rocking chair with coffee and toast smothered in peanut butter.
Clean the car this morning then back to work writing.
Hope everyone has a blessed Wednesday,
Ken

Good Morning!

It's a beautiful cool morning in SC PA. We started the day at 50 degrees and later it will get up to 82. Chance of afternoon showers. Hope we get some, we definitely need rain.

Last night was spent in the company of old friends as we put flags on the graves of veterans at our last cemetery. Just a beautiful evening, and a nice time to be out on the motorcycle. No deer were seen, so that was nice.

Work is slow but they kept us 10 hours yesterday. I have no idea how long we'll be here today. We'll see!
A couple of our Scouts said they missed hearing me play the guitar, so I guess I'll cut my fingernails and get back to it. Haven't touched it in a while due to hand issues but maybe it's time to give it another go. May go on an overnight hike this weekend. I probably will in fact. The weather looks good and I need to walk off some of this winter fat. It's nice to wake up in the woods and have hot coffee! I'll take along my new kit gun and my Martin Backpacker. Hopefully Mr. Porcupine shows up and I can ruin his day, and the rest of his days. Make it a great day everybody!

morning all. 40 with low 70s again, and our slight chance of moisture yesterday became a down pore of rain and hail about 5:30 last evening,
only lasted about 45 minutes and got about nine tenths of a inch. Most we've had at one time for about a year. Made some nice puddles in our road for sure.
Worked on sprinklers most of the day yesterday, probably the same for today, or might work on the big disc if the parts came in.
Better get moving, didn't sleep very good last night so it could be a long day.
Prayers for those in need and be safe out there.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good HUMP DAY morning folks. Same 🌞 as EC. Beautiful weather. I wish it would stay like this all year, and only rain on week days. Didn't do much last night. Worked at the shop, and after I got home I took the trash down, grilled some steaks and played with the pup a bit. He's a German Shorthair, very energetic. He also sleeps in bed, under the covers, and is constantly changing positions. So you get about an hour's sleep at a time, wake up getting kicked or poked. One more night of that. I think Tyler comes home tomorrow.

Got a call from my insurance man. They're going to cut me a check for half a roof right now....BUT...they couldn't match the 32 year old shingles so the added coverage I have will kick in and will pay for the rest, up to $20K. We have to front the cash, they pay after we show an invoice and pics of new roof. I am so happy about that! We're on the roofer's schedule, about 2 weeks out.

Well, I need to get busy. Prayers offered. Have a good one!

Charlie

May 24 and the kids in Canada used to chant:
The 24th of May
Is the Queen’s Birthday
If we don’t get a Holiday
We’ll all run away
I remember the damnedest things. Anyway, today is Queen Victoria Day in Canada and Great Britain.
And as CTKenagen said, remember the whole reason for our Memorial Day. I’ll be marching with my comrades at Detroit Fire Department. Our Memorial Day parade to the cemetery pre-dates the U.S. Memorial and the Civil War.

Some Hay was balled up yesterday's afternoon and a lot more to go today.
I came down from Fluffing hay about 1130 and this is what I saw.

Yup. The HalfDrunk Tar Man was swallowed by the tractor tire. He is efficient and got a new tube installed in about 1 1/2 hours.

He had to pump the fluid Out and then pump it back in the new tube.

Old boy got a Tip of a Quart of "Painter Piss" that I found the other day. He sampled it immediately and proclaimed it HI Test.

I missed a Coyote a couple days ago but I Got him yesterday as he was passing Back thru my Hayfield whilest I was Fluffing.

Gotta get at it again if the SUN ever dries this stuff out....need less clouds.
Congratulations to DEAN on the Rain he received.
Y'all be careful, come by and we will shoot Sam's old Rifle he gave me.

Morning Everyone!

Its 64º and partly cloudy here headed for the low 80's with an East wind of 6 to 8 mph. All week is suppose to be about the same.

I was in and out all day yesterday. Took the Wife a few things She wanted, stopped at the tire store that I've slowly been transferring my business to and got all of the tires checked and aired up. Stopped by the brewery for lunch.

Not much planned for today. The Wife thought She might be released today but I doubt it. They let Her get up last night and sponge off and Her heart rate went way up. So more meds and probably more test.

Carl, I have just about quit scrounging lead. I still get a small bucket a few times a year from a small shop that I used before we moved. I'm still running around 55-60% lead but its slowly been going down. I'm seeing more steel and a lot less Zinc.

Prayers offered for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

Morning all, 68 headed to 80 today, sunny day on tap. Dealt with Soc Security 2 more hours yesterday, finally got hold of a supervisor and hopefully got some things straightened out. That kind of stuff stresses me out and weears my head out. Mom had lost her TV remote and we could not find it, got a new universal remote, would not wok, so I went and bought her a new one. Old one was 12 years old so it was due to go out, nothing last anymore. Need to work on my bushhog, and garden tiller and use both of them. Better get to stiring my stumps, you all have a good one, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out.

The morning started in the low 50s and will near 80 by the day's end, but I hope to be some miles west by that time. The last couple of days have been somewhat stressful as an enterprising individual has acquyired my debit card #'s and spent $$ from Utah to south FL. To add to that we wrote a check for our concrete repair and I had put $$ in the bank to cover it. Which left me with nothing to back it up since the thief got there first. Add to that I had to deal with a complete moron at the bank while trying to set up a guaranteed overdraft. I still have a couple of honey do's before packing and not much time, yet here I sit talking with you people. The plan is to drive to Paris TN and spend the night with another shooter, then on the SD tomorrow morning. Should be splattering rodents Friday morning sometime. I'll send a pic or two.

G'day Y'all,

HHH…..that looks DELICIOUS ! shrimp, crab legs, oysters etc were among my favorites until 2006 when I was admitted to the hospital for a heart problem. When they gave me the iodine for an angiogram and I swelled up and started itching like crazy. Since that day, i have only eaten a total of 6 shrimp. Each time I had one, my throat began closing up. Seafood was my favorite but I steer clear of it now. Eat Up and have some for me.
