62° here in Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature today will be getting up to about 77°. It will be a mostly sunny day with a mild breeze of about 6mph and no rain predicted. We had a little rain yesterday, but it wasn't enough to do anything for us, it is very dry here although the temps are to cool a little.

Yesterday was a busy day that saw me on the road for a good part of it, today my wife and I are going over to the Veterans Home as they are putting on a picnic for the residents and their families. I haven't seen the FIL since my MIL was put to rest, he seems to be doing alright but he is 97 so I like to see him as much as I can.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from NC Ohio 65 only going to 78 less humid too. Garden is really producing now along with lots of grass to mow. Just doesn't leave much time for an old man to do much shooting along with everything else. Be safe Prayers to all and country. Mike

morning all. 51 and 81 with only 20% chance of moisture falling some where in the valley today.
Worked on one of the farm pickups yesterday morning, waiting for a brake line to come in today.
Sprinkler guy came and found the fault in our underground wire, I got it dug up and will splice it today and cover up the hole.
Several other sprinklers were started yesterday as no rain for the last few day where we needed it most.
Have a Happy Hump Day and be safe. Prayers for those with health issues and other problems.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Great morning folks,

Just a bit chilly with a damp 55° to go with a clear blue sky & sunshine here near HalfwayUSA. It was a stunningly nice day yesterday.

Most of the task list from yesterday was completed although none of it involved spending quality time in the barn. I think DD was doing her Judy Brown impression running about & doing errands. :ROFLMAO: I did escort her to some of them to include a two mile walk around the track at our local park. After dropping her off so someone else could paint up her nails, I gave Walmart 4 gallons of used oil.

Back at home I started chicken legs in the sous vide. So for dinner it was Sweet Corn roasted on the grill, the chicken & DD made sweet potato. Desert consisted of watermelon. Fine eating if you ask me.

At least I got the camper loaded up by sunset.

Today, a couple things need to be done. Food & clothes go in the camper. Hook up the flat trailer & tie down the RZR. DD has yet more errands. Hopefully we'll be headed north a couple hours before sunset.

Good morning folks. It's 75 with 85% humidity, but only going to 87 today. First day sub-90 in over a week. Supposed to get some rain today too. I hope so. I worked at the shop last night and when I got home, the skies were getting black and it was thundering. I hurried to get the garbage cans down the drive and push mowed the back yard. I also got some mole repellent stuff spread out on the yard. As I finished up, it started raining...about 10 drops. The storm out of the NW died over the mountain, picked up and dumped east of us. 10 minutes either way is soaked, we got zip. Sue had to wait over an hour at my daughter's for it to slow up. She said there was minor flooding down there an hour east of us. I picked up a huge pineapple tomato, lettuce and bread for dinner on the way home. BLT's with a THICK slice of tomato is probably my favorite summertime meal.

Well, I need to get busy. I'll let KYF post the HUMP DAY photos. Don't have time. Prayers offered. Have a good one.

Good morning everyone from the shores of the Chesapeake.79 headed to 90 with another heat index of 100+.60% chance of inclement weather this evening. Yesterday was a busy day safe was moved without a scratch neither was the floors scratched or walls marked . The stair climber was a track operated dolly that would pivot different angles. It climbed right up the step once arrived at the front door it was rolled in on pvc pipe on mats . One of the boys was a power lifter he would have given Arnold a run for his money. Well the sprinkler system people are here they got 4 zones in yesterday and hopefully they will get 10 more today. Everyone have a great day stay safe and comfortable enjoy your day.Not t shabby for a 27 year old safe .

Morning Everyone!

Its 73º and cloudy here headed for the low 80's with a 70% chance of storms.

Yesterday was mostly taking the Wife to a 11:00 Doctor's appointment. We picked up burgers from our favorite burger joint and went home for lunch. I tinkered in the loading room most of the afternoon. I think me and a buddy are going to get a table at next months Little Rock Gun Show. He has started thinning down his stuff and I found a lots of stuff during our recent move that I no longer need.

Not much planned for today. I'll get out to the garage and finish sorting a bucket of wheelweights before it gets hot. I think the oldest Son is coming over after work tonight to do some reloading.

Prayers offered for those with health problems, our Country and any others in need.

Y'all have a good one.

Whew…it was 53 degrees for the 6:00AM walk. I pulled a rug about 8X10 out of the basement and onto the deck to shampoo it yesterday. I must have used too much shampoo as it was still moist when I was going to bring it back in so I rolled it up put it under the front porch roof lest the dew make it wet again and I’m about to unroll it again as the sun can do it’s stuff. I have to get to the post office so’s I can send out a shoulder setback die. We sell a number of these each year. The neck has to be trimmed just a bit on this one.

74 and cloudy on the way to the mid 80s with rain in the afternoon forecast. Not sure what will be done today as it depends on the rain. Priority is mosquito spraying. My wife and I spend time most days on the front porch in the evening. I rarely if ever even see a mosquito, much less get bitten. They eat her up. So, if I want to continue getting quality time on the porch some spraying is on the agenda. Also, need to spray a variant on Roundup on the summer weeds in the drive. I pull them up as much as possible, but eventually they over run me and it's time to get out the big guns.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning, GoGo. At 0930 it's 77 in Louisville and supposedly only going to 80. My bet is that it'll get a little warmer than that. Heck, we've had 90+ so much this summer that I might freeze to death in 80 degree weather. 😁 Possibly strong thunderstorms this afternoon.

The sheath for my USMC knife is pretty much done. Most folks would think it looks pretty good, but I'm not real happy with my work, mostly the stitching. I need to finish up the scales and it'll be ready. Miss Cindy already fancied up a little all-black cardboard box to use for presentation. Photos to come in the next few days.

Charlie has trusted me with posting suitable Hump Day photos today, so I don't want to let him down. Apologies if you're an ass man. WOW, we can't say koon, but we can say ass. Interesting.

Francis, that shoulder setback die looks like a doozy. Can you tell us just a little about what it takes to push a shoulder back that drastically? Do you shove the brass into this die over and over, getting maybe 50 thou or so of progress each shove?

Skruske, here's wishing you blue skies, safe roads, and good temps on your little getaway.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and pray for our friends here and for our nation.

Morning all 75 headed to 82 today, thunderstorms this afternoon. Made a unexpected run to somerset yesterday, found a smoking deal on a 2 year old troybilt lawn mower, 20 HP Kohler engine, 46" cut, clean as new, $400. Brought it home, wife mowed the yard, it did a super job. She is plleased with it, she found it on facebook. My old sears mower is 11 years old. Need to put the automatic chicken coop door in today, and give my collie a bath and a haircut. That is about alll I hope to get accomplished today. Prayers for those that need them, you all have a good one, buff out.

Done a lot of rimfire shooting yesterday. Got 4 of the cz’s out on the back porch and blazed away. 3 different 22’s and the 17hmr. One 452 target, one 452 American, and one 452 American 17 hit and finally the 455 At-One. All of them shot better than I can hold. Ringing the 1/2” spinner at 50 yards regular with all of them. I am giving the 452 American to banker grandson. Already have the Ruger 77/22 to other one. Hopefully Mike Bryant has my cz 22 mag threaded and I can get it picked up and maybe the 455 MTR has come in. I have never shot a cz rimfire that wasn’t a shooter.
I think I’m going to the domino parlor today for some BS therapy.
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all.

A bit overcast right now and cool. Got 1.1" of rain yesterday, and that should keep us for a bit. Only one important task for the day and that is to pick up my wife at the airport this afternoon. Tomorrow is a PET/CT.

Good late morning...sitting here and just got out ofnthe chiropractor office getting twisted up a little and a bunch of x-rays. Hopefully they can help with my lower back pain rather than just chalking it up as arthritis and giving me another pill to take as the doctor has for the last two years.
Got a aluminum flatbed mounted and out of the shop yesterday and welded a crack in a trailer. Have a big tree mower at the shop too that ate a piece of steel and sent it through some sheetmetal that needs heated and beat back in place....not really sheetmetal at 1/4" thick though.
Hope everyone has a good day!
