56° here in Upstate NY this morning under overcast skies, the high temperature for today will be getting up to about 77°. After the morning fog burns off it will be a mostly sunny day with a mild breeze of about 5 to 7mph.

Yesterday I was on the road for a good part of the day and for the rest of it I was working here at home. This morning I plan on going up to the gun club and in the afternoon, we are going over to our daughters for a time.

Prayers for all that need them.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning George and those to follow. 69° here this morning. It’s already feeling muggy but not foggy like it was yesterday morning. They say this is Summer’s final hurrah and that we will have our last of 90° day of the season. ……keep in mind, the season ends today since tomorrow is the first day of Fall. Not sure what I will do after work today. Reloading and cleaning up is on the agenda when there’s nothing else to do. Chimney will be brushed and wood will be split this weekend when the weather cools off.
Make it a good day.

Good morning from Waseca where it's 60, clear and 65 for the high. Yesterday was 94 and clear, really nice. We got the car out and went to Mankato, top down just enjoying the weather. We had dinner at Olive Garden, it was good and expensive. Probably won't be going back again, just costs too much.
Today is see the tax man about why I didn't get last years tax refund. And staying home.
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday,
Ken

Great morning folks,

Thin clouds are moving off while we begin the day at 61° and should reach a high of 83° here near HalfwayUSA. I wasn't expecting rain yesterday but we had two bands of showers move through.

Despite the rain I was able to move 4 face cord of split wood into the wood shed. After that I made noise with the chainsaws so the log pile is mostly blocked up & waiting for splitting. Looks to be about 34 face cord in the shed. Another 4 on the ground and at least 8 over at my friends house in Beaverton. I will try to get that picked up tomorrow.

Today I have to take old hunting partner to the doctor. In part of that I have to meet my cousin to pick up an antique brass bed then meet my other cousin to give the bed to him. Sort of a bed relay delivery.

Highlight of the day was escorting Debra Dearest to the ice cream shop to quietly enjoy some together time for our 42nd anniversary.

Good morning all. It’s 72 in Indy heading for the low 90s. Today is the last day of the golf league and the coveted club champ’s parking spot and bragging rights are on the line. In the highly unlikely event that I should pull a rabbit out of my hat and win, I’ll leave the truck there and walk to the pancake joint Friday. 😂 Jimmy crack corn!

Went to the indoor range after dinner last night to try a slightly different grip that Jerry Miculek told me about. Well, he didn’t really tell me but I did watch one of his videos on YouTube. Hey Jerry! That crap didn’t work either.

Off to greet the day. Have a good one your own self.

morning all. 50 here with only 70 for a high, was 80 yesterday, showers today... probably.
We got two more fields baled yesterday, well I baled and bossman raked. Another circle (130 acres) was cut and lots of bales stacked.
Best thing the boss has done was hire a guy with a self-propelled stacker to come help out!!! This guy can stack 1000 bales in a day!!!
Happy anniversary Scott and Deb. And a late one for Greyfox and Mrs. (Sorry so late)
Have a great Hump Day and be safe. Prayers for those with health issues and our country.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good morning folks. It's 57 going to 85 later. Gonna get chilly the rest of the week. Might have to think about archery hunting a bit here soon, but I've got other things on the brain. Yesterday I heard back from the marina. I had voiced concerns over the trailer brakes needing replaced. The owner said he'd knock $1500 off and that was his final offer. (He had already dropped the price $5000 about 3 weeks ago.) That price was within a few bucks of what I thought brakes would cost me, so I pulled the trigger and put down a deposit. Now the spending begins. Looking at installing brakes on BOTH axles, not just 1 like now. PA requires it for yearly inspection, among other states, and it's just a good idea with what this boat weighs. I'm also planning on going electric over hydraulic and ditching the surge brake system that is a pain in the @ss. I need to either buy or borrow a spare tire for the ride home. It will get new tires and it's own spare(s) in the spring. I found a deal on a new in box VHF radio on a boat forum...if the guy ever responds to my PM. Ordered an antenna, brake controller and other misc. items off Amazon. And I haven't even looked at GPS/Fish finders yet! $$$ Not sure when we'll pick it up. Next couple weeks are busy, might have to take a day off whether the boss likes it or not!

Wow, lots of fall anniversaries here. Congrats Greyfox, Was and HHH, and to your wives for putting up with you! May you have many more!

Gotta run! Prayers offered. Have a good one!

HHH, land lubber here - what are crab trap bunkers?
We get any busier, I'll have to get a job so l can slow down and relax. Per Top Gun Captain: Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full.
Dentist Mon then y'day. Somehow, an adjacent tooth chipped soon after the the temp crown was installed. It was catching food all the time, every time. So he filled it yday.
Swapped loaners w the dealer while they be awaiting the evap coil to come in. It's 4 days short of a month since they ordered it. There isn't a chip in it....wt hey? The one we had had been smoked in. Dinah has an allergic sinus reaction to perfume, cig smoke, wood smoke. She was a mess the first 3 days of the AK trip. Someone had doused themselves w perfume on the bus.
Head up to Doug's stomping ground to baby sit latest grand. I'll mosey over to hearing aid guy to swap
my Bud's for mine. I sent the wrong one. I got them mixed up. A real puddin' headed thing to do but l did it w great aplomb, dexterity and panache. Sheesh, lma a maroon.
We finished coring maters last night. There will be another half dozen qts of sauce for chili this winter. :) The garden is winding down.
Time to get around. Tom out

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo! It's 68 in Louisville, going to a blistering 95 and sunny. Cold front arrives tonight and highs the next few days will be 73, 70, 76.

I had a routine blood draw yesterday and it went real well. This particular hemotech was a middle-aged lady of average looks and she did a super job. When I donate at Red Cross events I used to gravitate toward the young, hot girls. After a few years and a few "fishing expeditions" by those hotties, I decided that the somewhat older gals had more experience and more skills in terms of what I was there for. I bet you other guys who get stuck even more often would concur. Have you ever found a young hottie with really good needle skills?

Speaking of young hotties, here are my Hump Day offerings for today. One of them may or may not be connected to someone's anniversary activities.

Happy Anniversary for Scott and Debbie, and HHH and his wife.

This is a busy week. Saw the radiation oncologist for an introductory/first visit yesterday, See my regular oncologist this afternoon, and fo back to the radiation guy tomorrow to do a CT and have him up the plan for the treatments. Supposed to be three to five treatments that alternate days. Friday is planned to do a COVID vaccine booster, but that may change depending on how I feel.

65 or so at sunrise on the way to the mid 90s today in the hollow. Hoping this is the last gasp of summer. Thanks to all for the Anniversary congrats. We didn't really celebrate and are saving special stuff for the next week on vacation. Today is pack & sack day. I'm building a list and will start toward loading up later in the day. The bank restored our funds yesterday, which was much appreciated. Even if you have a little $$, $3500 makes a hole in one's wallet. Have no clue if they will recover it, probably will never know. Better get at it, wastin' daylight.

G'day Y'all,
Rick
Let's go Brandon!!!

Morning Everyone!

Its 70º and Sunny here headed for the upper 90's. The heat this week will be challenging the records.

Yesterdays big event was taking the Wife in for a test. That burned up most of the morning. Then home to tinker in the loading room for a few hours then off to pick up the youngest Granddaughter from school, take her home to change and then deliver her to gymnastics. Was a busy day!

Not much planned for today. The Polaris is still sitting on the trailer waiting on me to take it to the dealer for a recall. I'll probably let them service it while they have it. I'll probably meet my running buddy at the brewery for lunch.

Happy Anniversary to Scott and his Bride and to HHH and his Bride.

I agree with you guys about being stuck. The older ladies defiantly have more experience with the needle. One of the places that I have to go has a heavy set motherly looking black lady that can stick me and I don't hardly even feel it.

Prayers for those in need and for our Country.

Y'all have a good one.

GM from the sticks of Kentucky and expecting a hot day and that's Good.
Dean sent photos to us on a bale stacking wagon. I don't know how anyone could afford such a contraption. Their TIME must be worth a lot more than MY Time.

Happy Anniversary to ALL Y'all and my advice is to Try to Wear that thing out.
Headed to buy some heavy angle iron for a repair and Dean is flying out to help. Maybe?

Should I post the photo of the lady with the Squirrel in her Pants?

Guess I’ll head to the reloading room…. House cleaning ladies showed up awhile ago and I don’t speak much Spanish or whatever.
Son sent a pretty sunrise pic this morning from the top of the continental divide about 200 yards from where we always set up camp.
Cloud Sky Atmosphere Ecoregion Afterglow

I thought it was pretty and reminded me of why I like it in the mountains so much.
Prayers for our Country, Israel, Ukraine and all Y’all.

Good morning everyone....gonna be a hot one today then it's gonna fall off. A few beans fields are getting cut around here. I went and picked up a couple 3man ground blinds yesterday to set up maybe this weekend. I'm thinking I might try to shoot another deer this season.....maybe as many as I can just to piss off the neighbor that lives on the corner next to where we hunt. Last year while coyote hunting at night he rolled up determined I was poaching deer without actually saying it....but made sure he told me he'd shoot a poacher if he caught one....few weeks later his gf was caught shooting at deer with a 30-06 during archery season from a side by side.
So now I just want to piss him off every chance I get.
Mikey I sure don't know what the censor program has against Popsicles?
Here is my hump day addition.
Hair Joint Leg Lingerie top Orange

Face Hair Joint Skin Head

Swimwear Thigh Undergarment Swimsuit bottom Chest

Happy anniversary to all those those that have them!

Hope everyone has a good day!
