58° here in Upstate NY this morning, the high temperature they say is to only get up to about 63. We had some very hard rain yesterday with a tornado watch out just to the south of us.

I was on the road yesterday most of the day and I am hoping to take it a little easier today.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning, 66 and mist rain. Supposed to warm up a little bit today. Wife said we can go home today, great as I miss home right now. I have a lot of writing to do in the next two weeks.
We did have a great time yesterday, Senior Saints day at the campground.
Rain is getting to be an issue with the farmers. They can't get in the fields. Corn and beans are more than ready to harvest.
Hope everyone has a blessed day, Ken

Great Morning everyone,

Damp, grey cloud cover with 54° but going up to the mid 70's later here near Halfway USA.

I can recommend NOT pouring concrete or laying block in high humidity with cool weather. We set block in the morning & later in the afternoon, the mortar was still not fully set & dry. We had difficulty with the bench tops. The mix was a bit more wet than needed. Even after three hours, we could not get a firm surface to trowel off it off smooth. Thursday when we set the tops on the pedestals we will have "polish" off the tops.

Because the mortar for the block wasn't ready, we couldn't pour concrete into the blocks so that will get done today. I will head up early and check zero on my 300mag. I have an Elk tag for Wyoming to fill hopefully that will get handled next week.

Good Morning

59 here in NC Ohio with clouds, maybe rain later. Same old same old here only more work after another job. But that the only thing that keeps me moving. For some reason I'm really having trouble moving fingers this morning, down to one finger typing!!! Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike

We had a small tornado touch down last evening. It hit a nursing home in Conneautville. Fortunately it hit a residential building on premise. No injuries but all 160+ residents had to be evacuated because of a gas leak.

morning all. 53 here, into the mid 70s later. Slight chance of a shower.
Rain yesterday stopped the haying for a few days, hope the sun shines today.
Took my calves over the hill to La Junta, Colorado for the cattle sale. Didn't hang around long enough to see them sale so don't have any idea what they brought.
When we were loading them I got smashed between two gates with the calves pushing on one. Ended up in the er after Gwyn and I got home from La Junta.
Nothing broke just brusied and swollen . Feeling ok this morning, just alittle sore.
Not sure what will take place around here today.
Have a great day and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo! It's 69 in Louisville, going to a hot 87, at least for this time of year.

Got bad news recently about the daughter of a good, good friend who sang baritone in two quartets with me for at least 10-12 years. His 50-year-old daughter in Bowling Green killed herself Saturday. Several singing buddies will be going with me to the funeral on Sunday. The young lady's name is Dana Uveges Cooper, so please pray for God to forgive her and to wrap his arms around the whole family. My buddy just turned 80 and this will be devastating.

Y'all have a good'n, be safe, and hug those you love every single chance you get.

Morning folks and happy HUMP DAY Carpman. Hope the back side of the hump is better than the front side. My day yesterday want to hell shortly after Gabriel showed up to visit my work. We had a nice chat. Good to see him and congrats again for your girl! Out at a job site this morning testing to smoothe some things out then back to the desk. Might hunt tonight, might not. Just not real into it yet. We'll see.

Have a good one folks

Oh thanks!

Gabriel shows up and things go to hell.:p
To short of a time together, but it was nice talking with you Charlie. Sobering time looking over the battle fields.
Leaving for the airport in a few minutes, headed back to Oregon.
