44° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature for today going up to 55°.

Busy day yesterday with my being on the road for most of the day and taking time to vote. Today will see me going to the gun club this morning, working this afternoon and going to the gun club meeting this evening. This meeting is for nominations for the 2019 officers and we have constitution and by/law changes to ok, a Facebook page sell/swap to discuss along with a guest membership card. We are going to discuss changing our yearly raffle over to a gift card from a cash 50/50 raffle.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning George and everyone to follow. At the shop and looked at the news....looks like we lost control of the house. But I seen where waskruske might have a new career in a new farming endeavor there in Michigan.:D

Almost got the first set of beams done for the glass furnace...about time....keep getting sidetracked with all kinds of crap that pops up and it has to be done right now! Well it bit me in the ass yesterday when I got in a hurry and welded some brackets on a part backwards and scrapped the whole thing. I went on a Hulk style rampage and stuff got smashed and my blood pressure went way up. Only fatality was my insulted drink cup but Walmart had a replacement when I left the shop at 8p.m lastnight.

Got up this morning with the beginnings of a sinus infection I do believe as well. Not good as I got more work than I can handle and its backed up even more now. I called the wife cousin so hopefully I can get some hours out of him for a little while to help move stuff along.

Well I'm off to see what kind of day it's going to be today! Be safe !

morning all. 17 this morning, mid to upper 40s today.
Damcow work went well yesterday, vet was late but we got done before dark.
Also got a lot of elk meat cut and wrapped. I think there only 2 1/2 left in the cooler now, didn't look when I left last night. Was dark when we called it quits.
Probably cut more today but our help is thining out, people having to leave and get back home to work. :(
Not sure on our election results here yet but probably not good.
Happy Hump Day, hope it's a good one.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Darn frig went out this morning, so much for the next gun project, what ever that was going to be!

Great morning folks,

About 40° with cloud cover yet again here near Halfway USA.

Busy day yesterday. Dentist first thing in the A.M. Then "looking" at stuff to finish up the remodel job. Not one bit of mud got smeared around. The Chief Interior Design specialist required a last second change. Had to extend a partition wall, run an additional outlet. At least we were able to reuse a couple pieces of paneling on one side so only a little more drywall on one side to deal with.

Back to the dentist this afternoon.

Mud slinging will commence in 3 - 2- 1...

But I seen where waskruske might have a new career in a new farming endeavor there in Michigan.:D
I fully expect to be stopped every time the ******* Limo crosses into Indiana. :D Just having Michigan plates will be probable cause. Watch for the red & blue lights and Chinese fire drill at the I-80 & I-94 split. :D

good HUMP day morning folks. It's already 54º here and I'm late to work. Sat in the tree out back for a bit before work. Had lots of deer around me the whole 2 hours, just not the right ones. Eight does and fawns and one small 8 point pushing a doe around before I got down. Going to get some stuff done here at work and leave a little early for the evening sit. My boss took a pic of a good buck in the field about 800 yards from my place this morning on the way to work. Maybe he'll come up the hill to me tonight? Running out of season. Saturday is it for us until after Thanksgiving.

Better get moving and see who won/lost the elections. When I went to bed it didn't look good. Have a good one.

Charlie

ETA...local elections went pretty well, with only our d!ckhead governor and Senator Casey winning re-election. I just wish someone would take them out of office for good.

ETA2....NOW I get it...Michigan "Farming". LOL Took me awhile.

Upper 40's in the hollow only going to low 50's later today. Looks like cooler weather is moving in. Last week our gun club was the grateful recipient of a gun collection from a deceased member. There were 25-30 long guns and about as many handguns along with quite a bit of reloading tools and supplies.
We picked it all up last Thursday and spent Friday morning getting everything identified. A club member who owns a LGS has graciously allowed us to use his shop to store and sell everything. We spread the long guns on folding tables and put the handguns in display cases. Friday, Monday & Tuesday a couple of us worked at identifying, listing descriptions and helping sell from the shop. So far, we have moved something over $10,000 in guns sold to locals who just happened by or heard about it all word of mouth. There are/were a number of good buys and folks have taken advantage of it. There is still probably another $20,000 worth of items still for sale. I expect some of the high dollar stuff will move more slowly. This includes some pricey black powder cartridge rifles, several TC Contender/Encores with nearly a dozen barrels. Many have scopes as well. There is a Colt pre-ban AR with two uppers. There is a Dillon 550 and several RCBS, Lyman, etc presses and such. We probably have 7-800 lbs of lead for casting as well. Fortunately, most of the stuff I was interested in has already sold. I didn't need the dent in my meager bankroll. Anyway, after I take care of some business I'll probably be going back over there this afternoon.
G'day Y'all,
Rick

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky, a 50 cent chance of rain today. Judy Brown HAS HOT WATER for the first time in a week, but not without another trip to Lowe's last night to buy a connector that the plumbing store gave me the incorrect one.
And I STILL have a water leak somewhere, probably in the line outside. Screw it if it ain't too bad.

Dean, sounds like a good problem to me cutting up elk meat. And i will send my repairman Rick out to work on the Fridge......it will cost you $500, take 2 weeks, and still won't run after he fixed it. BUT you will have 3 new holes in the floor and walls. Right Skruske?

Skruske, you need to send the interior decorator on a trip to Flordia, and then get the work finished. Judy Brown is struggling to get the closet shelves back in, but I'm pretending I don't hear her...

Mud slinging you say? Scott, with 50% of our wunnerful, down right upright Pols back in the bread line, I'd think you could hire a couple, cheap - and they are masters at it.
Pretty day so far but rain and COLD amassing their might to pounce us in a few days.
Mikey, another Wed happening.
I need to get into the woods with the borrowed metal detector to find my #1 chain and key grab. They slid off the bush hog.
OK, need a cuppa to finish off the morn. Like Miss Cindy, Dinah addressed my wood pile, duly processed and scattered it.....tuff life I tell ya. 😉
