27° here in Upstate NY this morning with a high temperature of about 32° expected.

Yesterday the weather was decent and I was on the road most of the day. It will be the same for work today but they say we may have some snow showers with up to 1" of snow.

No deer was killed yesterday so after them
again today. It got windy yesterday evening and
don't think they were moving too good.
Hope my knee holds up, didn't bother ne yesterday

Good morning everyone.....at the shop after the wife derailed my drive to work with a trip to Walmart to get somethings she needed. Of coarse she didn't remember that until she was almost to work. Luckily I wasn't bad at 6am.
Left the shop yesterday about 10:30 a.m. and headed to Wilmore,Ky to pick my daughter up from school she had to be checked out by 2pm. Done a turn and burn and headed straight back and rolled back in the shop about 5:30pm yesterday evening.

Hopefully I can get these other furnace parts done today or real close to it....I'm planning on deer hunting in the morning depending on the weather as we don't have ant plans until about 1 pm but they may have to head that way with out me and I'll catch up later. I did get all my material in for the stone box that's been here and had the floor and endwalls gutted out of it so with a little more cleanup it can go together and get gone and I think there is another one coming right behind it.

morning all. 12 to start with 50 for a high later.
Our Saturday snow has been moved up to tomorrow but replaced with wind! So that's probably all we'll get, guess that's how we pay for the last few really nice days.
Started working on the old Dodge, got one back brake tore down so I know what to order for parts and that was all I did on it yesterday. Not sure if I'll work on it today or not. Getting more cow chores to take care of now. Chopping ice and making sure they have enough water.
Gwyn's off now till Monday so we slept in. Darn wood stove smoked up the house after we went to bed, will have to clean the stove pipe this morning
Better get around, have a great day and Thanksgiving. Be safe out there too!

good HUMP day morning folks. And it's the last day of the work week for most I reckon? It's 32º here with bright sunshine, but the wind is bitter. Supposed to have record cold tonight/tomorrow. I believe I'm going to forgo the annual Thanksgiving duck hunt. No ducks around and frankly, I have no desire. I have other things to do.

As for today, I get in here at work and check email and have a huge fire to put out, before I leave for deer season. Typical. Should be able to bang it out today and deliver. Maybe even knock off early.

Better get moving. Have a good one!

Was 28º and clear before sunrise in the hollow. A bit warmer now but I haven't looked at the thermometer on the front porch. I don't have many important things to do today, but I intend to visit Sam's Club, Publix and the discount liquor warehouse for some provisions. Tomorrow will be an afternoon meal with one of my daughters and her in-laws. Friday all my children and some grand children will be here sometime in the afternoon. The weather forecast looks decent, so it should be a pleasant few days. It's possible I could get out to my shooting house in the morning, but not a definite. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Morning gang! 32 headed to 47 today, doing some more hunting to fill my buck tag, no real pressure. I have really enjoyed the last 2 days hunting, getting outdoors has been good for my soul, me and a buddy getting a deer was just icing on the cake! You all have a good one, remember those in need of prayer, buff out!
