14° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature to be up to about 40° today. Clear out this morning, yesterday we had a trace of snow with some flurries most of the day.

Very busy day yesterday with another one on tap for today. I was on the road all day yesterday and will be today also. We are to be up into the 50's on the first day of winter they say for Friday.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning from Bartonville Texas, it's 55 now, but the high is just 60 with a 50 percent chance of rain.
Time to get busy today. Not sure what, the women will cure that.
Maybe sneak out this afternoon for some shopping.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Great morning folks,

Beginning to overcast with 28° with a warm day predicted here near Halfway USA. We may see mid 40's today.

Short days this week. Sunrise to sunset is less than 9 hours at this latitude.

IT'S OFFICIAL!! At 1:49pm yesterday Debra Dearest declared "the room is done". I nailed up that last bit of trim on the stair risers and put away my tools. :D

After poking about on the internet for a few hours, I rolled my chair up the the table in the reloading office and started sorting brass. There is significantly less to sort than in years past. I recall starting in late November and it would take me until January to sort and resize. If I keep at it, I will probably be done sizing by the end of the month. Not sure if I am to be pleased about that.

morning all. 22 this morning, will be a windy 45 later, looks like the "breezes" will kick up some dirt and dust at around 25mph today.
Started the day chasing the damcows back in before chores or anything else. Boss man finally decided to move them. So after lunch we move two bunches around, hope they stayed in but not sure they will.
Need to go across the valley and pickup a half of beef that is waiting on me, we get one done every year at this time. Part of my wages, so nice to not spend money on meat, also get a hog from time to time. Also nice to know where the meat is from and how it's been fed.
Better get moving along, have a Happy Hump Day, and be safe.
GOD BLESS. Dean

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo! It's a frosty 29 in Louisville, but will be sunny today and the temp will shoot all the way up to 57. Sounds good to me.

Nothing much else to report, so I'll post a little photo to give Charlie something to dream about:

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Happy HUMP day folks. It's a chilly, frosty 23º here headed to mid 40's later. Speaking of HUMP...I better HUMP some wood into the basement tonight after work before more rain comes. We got the electric bill for Nov. and Miss Sue nearly had a stroke. About 50% more than last year. Nov. was cold and the new heat pump ran constantly. So...guess the wood stove will take over for awhile and give the heat pump a rest.

Worked at the shop last night a bit. Gun shop has been busy, busy. That's a good thing for several reasons. Been a slow year overall, but the holiday traffic helps. Saw that Parker Bows closed it's doors on 12/17. Not sure why? Hope someone picks them up.

Enough rambling, I gotta go. Work is calling. Have a good one.

Charlie

Mike, wonder if she'd like one of my pillows?

Morning

Good morning all. I'm late to the show this morning. It's up to 37 in Indy and heading for 51. Not 50, not 52! These guys are good. Having lunch with the Coastie grandson shortly. My friend made him a very nice plaque with his name, the Coast Guard insignia, and the date he was sworn in. Award presentation and burgers! Who could ask for more? I'll try to post a pic of the plaque later.

RK Guns (Rural King) has the S&W M&P Shield 9mm on sale also. $269.99 "while supplies last". It's the model without the thumb safety and is an online only deal.

Nice photo Mikey!

Have a good day.

Late check in as usual for me. Charlie my LGS was a parker dealer for 20 years, bows and crossbows, some of the most trouble free bows out there, hate to see them go as I have a parker crossbow. I am painting a Savage stock today, a short action I built for a guy a couple of years ago, with a Lilja.204 barrel. He screwed the stock up, and I had a spare, so I bought it cheap from the LGS. Had about 200 rounds thru it. Well got to run, or hobble in my case, the wife has a bunch of honey do stuff on her list, remember those in need of prayer, Buff out!
