20° here in Upstate NY this morning, with the high temperature to go up to about 37°. We have winter advisory once again for today as we are going have a chance of a wintry mix today. Then tonight we are to get rain and they say we could have from 1/2" to 1" of it.

I was on the road all day yesterday but today I am hoping to work here more and be on the road less.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good Morning from Trinity, 41 with heavy rain, it's been raining hard all night. High of just 47 today.
Work continues on the staff house flooring. The easy pats are done, now I have to work through the doorways and closets. At least two days of work.
I have a leak in the RV roof also. Big wet spot in the center of the nose carpet, but I cannot tell were the opening in the roof is. This is the second time it's happened. Only in a hard rain. Need to work on that this afternoon, rain is supposed to stop by mid morning.

Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken
Good Morning

39 here in NC Ohio with cold wet rain on top of all the snow !!! I did get about 10 ft. of the drift in front of the barn moved. One good thing is the groundhog under the barn is not going to see his shadow, no way can he dig out by Feb. 2 thru the snow I packed on top of his hole !!! Be safe and Prayers to those and country. Mike
morning all. 6 above with wind chill of -13. BUT over in town it's -20 and wind chill of -35.... lucky them
The wind yesterday took out little skiff of snow off to parts unknown and then just blew all day.
Worked in the shop after chores were done, didn't really get anything done though.
Have to go to town today, lawyer appt. then need to try to order parts for the yellow loader and the seeder. Guess spring is coming so better get things ready to go. Not looking forward to all the work.
Happy Hump Day, have a good one and be safe. Remember our country in your prayers.
GOD BLESS. Dean
Good morning everyone.....warmer and rainy here this morning. Still feeling bad and should have slept longer this morning. Draggin ass pretty hard already and the day hasn't started yet. Not sure what i'll get into today but I don't think it will be to much if I can help it. Hopefully this crud passes pretty soon and I'll get some energy back.

Hope you all have a good day!
good HUMP day morning folks. It's a balmy 28º here with rain on the way. Boy, get a little water on top of these icy patches all over and there will be wrecks everywhere! Oh well...at least it's not snow and it's going to get to near 40 or so they say. Truck is in the shop for inspection, oil change, and fuel filter. Hopefully it doesn't need tires now, but for sure it will soon. I noticed it was a little slippy in the last snow storm. Hopefully I can get thru this winter and get a new set towards fall. Either way, this diesel is going to be a bit more expensive to service.

Sold a bud a Salvage Axis package last week. Brand new in box, and he didn't take it out to look at it until he got home. Calls me up, scope is canted. No big deal, bring it over. So he shows up last night and it's the worst I've seen. Scope was damn near 30º outta whack. The front ring wasn't on the base correctly, and none of the screws were more than 5-10 inch pounds tight. Must have been a 5PM Friday or 8AM Monday project. Got him fixed up and I bore sighted it (bolt out, look thru barrel). He didn't wanna believe me. I told him I'd kiss his bare ass if it wasn't within a few inches at 100 yards. Then I had to explain everything and that a "bore sighter" (spud type) is NOT really bore sighting, but everybody calls it that. Don't think I'm gonna have to pucker up any time soon.

Well, I guess I better get busy. Prayers offered. Shane, hope you feel better soon bud.

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo. Monday morning started out here at 8 degrees. Eight. Not 18, not 28. And this morning we start out at 51. And we wonder why most of us have the Ohio Valley Crud all winter. Sheesh! Major rain today and a high of 54. Due for a 21 degree start on Saturday and then another 8 degree morning Thursday of next week.

Plan to work in the office today and tomorrow, then from home again on Friday. At least that's the plan. I sure like avoiding that commute when I can, I know that.

Charlie, I hope you took the time to give your bud a long, convoluted explanation of rifle cant. Lord knows we've had a few of those here on the green board, right? :D

Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there.

Mikey, as birdog and others can attest, a little cant might help offset the Coriolis Effect. But 30º is a little more like the "Corona Effect".
Great morning folks,

I am told 49° is considered cold here but the sky is clear and sunshine will make for 66° later in the trailerhood. The big winds laid down at dark. They might blow a little today.

A mountain hike is on today's activity list. Picnic lunch at a higher elevation is planned.

Warmer tomorrow with a high in the mid 70's.
51º and cloudy with wind in the 20 mph range. A few gusts are reaching near 40 mph. Would be an interesting day for a benchrest match. Rain should be here shortly and will be with us for the day. Forecasters say it will change to snow before ending sometime in the early evening. When I was a kid (very long time ago) weather forecasting in our area was regarded as some of the most difficult in the country. That has improved, but not much. Few things to do this morning including a visit with a financial advisor. We'll see how that goes. When you don't have a lot to invest, your choices are limited. But I've done business with him for quite a while and he's been accurate more times than not.

G'day Y'all,

Rick
Morning gang, 52 headed to60 today , before the bottom drops out tomorrow! Docs appointments went well yesterday, but a long day, left home at 9:15, got home at 6:15 after driving 5 hours and 2 doc appointments, and a brief stop for a meal. Going to wrap up some gun projects I am working on for some friends before this weekend, get everything ready for surgery on Monday. Don't think I would be doing any of that coyote whispering JR, the closest I would get to that would be a .300BO/whisper with a can making no noise as I put old Wile down for the count!
