7° here in Upstate NY this morning with the high temperature to be up to about 15°. We have a chance of some snow showers today with little accumulation.

Yesterday was a busy day, I was on the road most of the day. Today will be about the same, I have a laptop here I have to finish up this morning and then back on the road. We have a gun club meeting tonight to finish off the day.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

9* this am on the south shore of Lake Erie. That is just wrong for March 6. Reports due on my guardianship's and they have a new state wide system that is on line. Huge change. When the current group is finished, I think I am giving it up. I would do the court appointed guardianship's for no compensation. The changes have created about 5 times the work. Time to bow out. Perhaps age 72 is telling me to slow down.

morning all. 34 to start off Hump Day. Should get into the low 50s today with "breezes" to around 30mph. Will take the new snow off the mountain!
Another day yesterday with lots of new calves born, right around 200 on the ground now, has kept us busy making sure they are all alright.
I got one of the JD tractors and the other blue loader in the shop for service jobs yesterday along with my chores and watching cows made for a busy day.
Also whacked two more coyotes :D these were both in the neighbors' cows but offered safe shots on both. Would like to thin some out that are coming into our cows though. I could believe how many different sets of coyote tracks were in the fresh snow yesterday morning. Don't know why they don't bother the calves but they do so far. If a calf was sick or something it would be a goner for sure.
Have a Happy Hump Day and stay warm, it won't stay cold for ever! Guess we've been lucky for the warm weather. Remember the prayer requests.
GOD BLESS. Dean

Was 22* when I got up, 19* now with a high of maybe 40. Calling for close to 70 this weekend but maybe 3 more inches of rain as well. Had 12+" in February so everything is still soggy. Can't even get the boat out. Been piddling the gun room.

good morning folks and happy HUMP day Carpman. It's 16º but actually feels decent out. No wind, sun shining. Going to be a nice day. I hope it warms up more than the 24 they are calling for by afternoon though. I have to meet a buddy at his kid's lacrosse game after work. I have my long johns in the truck. Just hope the wind doesn't blow.

Didn't get much done after working both jobs yesterday. Gun shop was dead. Got home and fed the coal to the stove. Was 75º in the house when I got home and I had it up a few more degrees before bedtime, but it dropped to low 60's again overnight. Ah well, pile on the covers and deal with it. Spring will soon be here...I hope.

Have a good one! Prayers sent.

HAPPY HUMP DAY, GoGo. It's 16 in Louisville with a 10-12 mph "breeze." It's supposed to get to 34, with quite a bit of sun. No rain!

My team at Humana puts on an annual event called IT Learning Weeks. The learning presentations tend toward the technical, although we also cover some topics for the general associate audience. This is the second week, and we only have today, tomorrow and Friday left. It's gone pretty smoothly so far and "Murphy hasn't hit us too badly. These are all virtual sessions, meaning we "broadcast" them online with as many as 700-800 attending certain sessions.

Charlie, I have to chuckle when you talk about the temps in your house. Over the years, Miss Cindy and I have agreed to bump our temp down a little at a time. This winter we've kept the thermostat on 62. If we get chilly, I fire up a couple of kerosene lamps/lanterns in the family room and that raises the temp in that room by 2-3 degrees.

Happy Hump Day, boys. Y'all have a good'n and be safe out there. Couldn't find my camel photo today, so you'll have to stare at this one:

Good morning from Bartonville Texas, 21 outside, supposed to get up to 35 today. Yesterday actually hit 43 and the water supply line thawed out. It is frozen again today.
I made good progress on the Journal yesterday, more work today and men's prayer group at noon. This is a new one for me.
Sunny today, hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Morning Gents! Its 24º and Sunny headed for the low 40's. Rain and T'Storms back on Friday and Saturday.

Today is day 3 of the big kitchen remodel. Today is electrical day, and thats me! Gotta move 2 receptacles, add 4 others, add a light, remove a couple of 220 receptacles, typical remodel stuff. It shouldn't be bad, I wired the house originally so I'm familiar with whats there and its a nice roomy attic and the attic stairs are on that end of the house. Still a lot of work for a broke down old guy! Ha Ha!

You'all have a good one.

Great morning folks,

At 63° as dawn breaks, it is nicer outside here than inside Charlie's house.:D
85° & mostly sunny today.

Deb & hung around the Big doublewide most of the day yesterday. We did get a private demonstration from the Marine F-18's. They made several passes direct overhead at about 700 feet. LOUD and fast.

They guys are going riding today on the bombing range. The girls are going to the pool.

Good Noontime greeting from the sticks of Kentucky where the Damcows are fed and no births or deaths today.
Its a bright full sunny day here but is rather chilly. I dont have to chop ice because the warm spring water keeps it from freezing.
Judy Brown is off to Justin's house with a bunch of car parts and a wheel as he bent some stuff last week with a confrontation with a jeep. Rick is sending repair parts.
.right Skruske? She will be gone for a day or two, don't think i will get in any trouble.

More rain for the weekend, but i dont expect it to be like it was a couple weeks ago. We had a big tree wash on upstream from the bridge just down the road. It looks like it might be a problem to me with a few big ones lodged just upstream it may take the whole bridge out the next flood. I have seen Floodwaters running through the rails of this bridge, so it gets up big.

Just upstream...

Ugh JR...that big ole sycamore snag ain't good for anything but trouble! Burns good but don't even attempt to split that stuff! I had some a guy gave me. Ended up making good backstop material for my shooting range out back. It'lll take a lot of FMJ's to tear that stuff up.
