28° here in Upstate NY this morning with a high temperature of 51° expected. It is to be a sunny today but tonight and tomorrow we will probably get some rain and snow.

Yesterday I was on the road all day working on computers and it looks as if it will be the same scenario today. I have to pay my quarterly sales tax today also.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Morning guys, 37 here in eastern Iowa. Heading into town to have breakfast with the boys from work in just a few minutes. Hard for me to believe I've been retired 9 years, time is flying. Hope spring is here for keeps and the creeks & rivers get back to normal. Have a good one guys.

Good morning from Bartonville Texas, 56 and cloudy, high of 63. Might rain.
Went to a new place for late breakfast yesterday, finally got a good Iowa style breakfast in this yuppy community.
Did nothing more after that.
Today is men's group so I can get out unsorted. There's a well stocked gun shop on the way.
Hope everyone has a blessed day,
Ken

Morning Gents! Its 41º and clear, headed for 60 with rain coming in this afternoon.

Yesterday was day 12 of the remodel. They finished the trim, touched up the paint and a bunch of odds and ends and then pulled out. They won't be back until the counter tops are ready. The appliances were delivered and set up yesterday. We gave the old refrigerator away and the Wife conned those guys into helping move some of the furniture back in that was moved out to the garage.

Today I'm going up to the Northern part of the state with a couple of buddies to scout Turkeys.

You'all have a good one.

Good morning from the shop....coffee is done but I'm not ready to get after it yet. More stone box work today. I got a 1" plate that was broke off replaced and all welded up and then flipped it upside down and got the bottom attached and ready to weld. A few more welds today and it will be ready to flip back over and put the wear bars in the floor and will be close to being done.

Hope Doc is doing well today and back to being mobile!

Everyone have a good day and stay safe!

morning all. 20 this morning, breezy and cool. Might get a storm tomorrow night with a little snow and rain. Sure bet the wind will blow.
Worked in the shop most of the day again, sure don't seem to get much done. But had to take time out to fix the roll up door on the building at my house, the old rope use to open the door wore out and the door got stuck half way. Had to cut the rope to close the door, so replaced it yesterday.
Better get to breakfast, have a Happy Hump Day!
GOD BLESS. Dean

Good Morning all you varmints from up here on the snow covered prairie. Spring breakup has started. Water has started to run everywhere. The maple trees are budding also.
26 degrees now headed for a high of 36 today. If it continues to freeze every night and get above freezing in the daytime breakup won’t be to bad. There is going to be a lot of water and it just needs time to run off easy like. There is a good solid 2 feet of snow on the landscape, so there will be plenty of water and plenty wet. The Sun has plenty of power now and you can really feel it. Let’s hope we don’t get any rain because that will flood us for sure.
Towns along the Red River are starting to fill sandbags and build dikes because it is going to get high.
My coffee is done, all ready had a cup, need to eat breakfast and get going. Hope you all have a fine day and a safe one, God Bless.

good HUMP day morning folks. It's 34º here with sunshine on the way. Love all this daylight we're saving...hate getting up in the dark. Oh well, today is the first day of spring and the days are slowly getting longer. Birds are migrating and nesting, and I bet pretty soon the skruske's will show up in Michigan.;):D

Didn't do much last night. Had to work at the shop until close. I did find a few primers to fit the new muzzleloader breech plug and test fired it. It went bang, so that's good.

Better get moving. Lots on my plate today. Have a good one. Prayers sent.

Happy Hump Day, GoGo! It's 45 in Louisville, going to 54 with at least a little sun. We're supposed to have some rain overnight, then cooler for a few days. I don't much care what it's like tomorrow because I'll be in my recliner watching NCAA games.

As I said in a separate post, I talked with the ol' Voldoc yesterday and he sounded real good. We've got to get him to lay down that stick and string a little and come visit us powder burners a little more. It's been ages since he's been to Buck Creek Range, but I guarantee he could grab anything off his gun rack and outshoot most of us with no preparation at all. Let's twist his arm to come to the BBB this spring, even if he's just a spectator. Maybe bring a Nashville nurse or two with him.

Kermit, write us a fishing story, with photos if possible.

Y'all have a great day and be safe out there. Mike (MPC), I hope your Amish crew shows up today.

Morning

Happy Hump Day to you all. It's 42 in Indy and looking like a bit of rain this afternoon. Slowly warming up. Golf clubs and rifles are wanting some attention. Big talk around here is whether or not IU's hotshot freshman, Romeo Langford, will declare for the NBA draft. He's good but he's not that good. He should stay another year but ya' know he'll have trouble turning down the money they throw at him. On another news front, some out-of-state environmental (heavy on the mental part) group bought billboard space near the Indpls Motor Speedway bad-mouthing them for their traditional release of a large amount of balloons on opening day. The sign was removed the next day with the sign company claiming it was an "attack ad" and doesn't fit their standards! ;)

Hey VolDoc. Come to the BBB! You too Birdog!

43º and going to mid 60's with sunny skies. It's a beautiful spring day in the hollow. I cut back on my work a while back and I still don't seem to run out of things to do. I spent a good part of yesterday traveling to and from the new range yesterday and planning with the contractor for the last major work on the rifle range. If we don't get torrential rains we should have the 300 yd & meter berm done by Thursday afternoon. We had to temporarily close it for this construction and I want to have it back open ASAP. We have some wildflower aficionados visiting this afternoon. At the new member orientation a couple of weeks ago I somehow got in a conversation with one about of spring flowers in the graveyard hollow and offered to take him and his wife to see them. they took me up on the offer. Looking forward to good news from Doc Stone.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Late morning check in gang, 48 headed to 62 here today, loving it. Had the backhoe guy down here yesterday, charged $10 more per hour than the last guy I had, did two days work in one! Best money I have spent in a while! Got the driveway/culvert fixed to the barn, ditched all the way around the barn and banked the dirt away from the barn, fixed the pond dam, put in a new drain culvert overflow on the pond, stones in the drain bin, cleaned out part of the pond, and hauled a load of gravel and put it down! I am about down in my back, due to riding all over the farm on the 4 wheeler, the whole place is big holes where the cattle had walked in the mud so much, and a week of dry weather had dried it up, leaving big chug holes, need to get the disk on an run over it a couple of times, then resow it with fescue. Well got to run, you all have a good day, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out!
