41° here in Upstate NY this morning, it is quite foggy along with being overcast. When the fog burns off it is to be a sunny day, light breeze with a high temperature of about 64°. Quite a bit different from yesterday, it was a chilly and rainy day most of the day.

I was on the road more than I thought I would be yesterday but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I got a call from a customer I hadn't heard from in two years and I have to go try to fix her computer Friday morning. She says "I knew I should have called you" (I hear that quite a bit) she got a phone call about her computer being infected and now $300 later she wants to have me clean up the mess. While I was out I stopped and got my yearly flu shot, so that will make my Dr. happy. Today Rusty and I are heading for a day of hunting, whatever was wrong with his leg has cleared up.

Have a Wonderful Day Everyone.

Good morning gang. Have internet will post!! 48 here in NC Ohio going to 70's with sunshine, maybe the last warm bluebird day we have. I'm still recovering from the tree trimming on Saturday, old bodies just don't heal overnight! Not sure what I'll get into today may just relax and enjoy a beautiful day. Be safe and healthy. Prayers to all and country. Mike

Good morning from Waseca, it's overcast, wet and windy. 48 now maybe 60 later. Not an outdoor day. Think I will work on reloading and stock finishing, gun cleaning. I have a Rem 572 pump that shoots 5 inch patterns. The 514 has some extraction problems.
Hit the coffee shop this afternoon and process pictures.
Hope everyone has a blessed day.

51° here this morning and headed to 75 they say. The highlight of yesterday was raking leaves in Mom’s yard with my granddaughter. With her “help” it took about 3 times longer than usual but that’s OK. Also loaded up some more 300 Blackouts Last night. Hanging a new basement door is on the agenda after work today.
Good Luck to George and Rusty today. Safe travels to those on the road. Make it a good day.

Carl, you better take that last picture off. She doesn't have a helmet or seat belt or anything! Somebody might call the internet police on you! LOL She's a cutie. Imagine the trouble her and Captain Jessie's girl could get into. They look like they could be 2 peas in a pod.

Good morning folks. Happy HUMP DAY Carpman! It's 48 here and sunny, headed to near 70 later. Supposed to be a beautiful day. Yesterday turned out quite nice after being kinda blah in the morning. We sure needed that rain from Delta though, so I'm not complaining.

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting at home working and I heard something outside. I stepped out on the porch and there was Marine One, flying over my house headed west! It all happened too quickly for a picture so here's a google image.

So I go inside and text JR. I checked DT's schedule and he was to be in Johnstown PA last night. Not 10 minutes later, I hear a jet, and thought it might be a fighter escort. I step out and look up and there is Air Force One headed east, straight up. It was so low, I could read the righting on the side of it without binocs. I don't know where it was headed, maybe had Pence on board?

What are the chances of seeing both of those aircraft, over your house, in the same day?

Looks like today is going to be a great day. I'm still digging out from being off on vacation, but slowly catching up. I am starting to really think about hunting season. Guess I'll try to go archery hunting after work. See what happens? Lillie will be here for a few days, maybe I can get her out with the X-bow before bear season starts Sat?

Well, I'm not getting anything done, better get busy. Prayers sent. Have a good one.

Good mornin all from the Mountain State, looks like a beautiful day today, sunshine and temps in the mid 60's. I've been looking for a project rifle and yesterday found a Winchester 670 30-06 carbine. I scrubbed the bore last night and it looks good, the metal and wood need some TLC. I've never seen a Win 670 carbine, should be a handy rifle. Hope you all have a good one in your neck of the woods.

Good morning from the Lincoln Square Pancake House on the lovely south side of Indy. It’s 42 heading for 71 here. Went to the far north side yesterday car shopping with the younger son. He has Cadillac tastes and a Yugo budget. No purchases were made.
Follow up visit to the eye doc today. Expecting more good news. I see!
Have a good day.

Good morning from the sticks of Kentucky where it is 43° outside and Warm inside with a fire in the woodstove left overs from last night.

Doug, you tellin your age when you mention a Yugo auto. I saw a few of them when they shipped over but they had problems it seems.
I wish I had a Rural King to walk through also. Closest one is 80 miles away.

Last evening i sawed up a few blocks of firewood and may get a few more today. Jesse said he may come down and split it for me. That means the little Demon Grandaughter will be here. Carl, it would be out of control if those two met each other.
Y'all have a good day, i need to go get a coon out of my trap...maybe.

Morning Gents! Its 50º and Sunny here headed for the upper 70's. Its really pleasant to be outside!

Yesterday morning I ran a few batches of brass through the tumbler. After lunch I hooked up the gooseneck and hauled my tractor over to my Son's place. After I got home I adjourned to the shop doorway for an afternoon beer. A shooting buddy stopped by, then another buddy came by and before ya knew it there were 5 or 6 guys sitting around. We were 6ft apart!

Not sure what today holds yet. Both Duck Clubs need mowing one last time. I've made it a point to not be working on a tractor on those levees unless someone is there. My running buddy has been tied up with family business due to the death of his MIL. So, we'll see.

Charlie, thats quite a sight. Both of them in the same day!

Carl, your Granddaughter is really cute!

Prayers offered for our Country and those in need.

You'll have a good one.

Good morning everyone....I got some grain dryer patches on yesterday and have a few more to bend up this morning and go install. I also picked up a leaky diesel tank from a semi that need some patches as well. Also have some sheetmetal chimney parts to modify as well for a guy around the corner.
Since we have almost done away with the pigeons at the dairy they are asking about bird doors for the front of the building to close over where the overhead doors are. Basically a mesh covered frame so they can still get the airflow needed.
They also have started drag lining the manure from the dairy as well....last I heard they can pump shit through an 8" hose about 5 miles away with a couple pumps in line. It's a lot less costly to drag line it because they don't have 5 or 6 drivers hauling tankers all over the place nonstop all day...since they run farm tags on the trucks most of the drivers don't have CDL's....so that means they can put some of the local methheads in there to drive. Problem is they tend to crash them and roll over spilling 8000 gallons of shit everywhere.:poop: Thats gets them in a pickle!

Well off here to get back at it,,,Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all, 48 headed to 79, got a long way to go. Yesterday at court went off without a glitch, glad it is over. A fellow single shot lover came down yesterday evening, and I let him shoot 3 different calibers, 50/60, 8x58R, and 40/82. He shot all of them really well, but went nuts over the 8x58, I gave him a couple of websites where they stock them and I think he bought one. The 40/82 is going to be a real shooter, on paper yesterday with a 4x12 scope, it shot 3 rounds into 3/4" at 150 yds. It was shooting low, ran out of adjustments on my scope, will shim it today. This is a Browning Hi Wall, with a 30", heavy half octagon half round barrel, and case hardened frame, grip cap and buttplate, along with curly fiddleback walnut. She is a looker, and a shooter. Wieghs about #18! Well got get moving, you all have a good day, remember those in need of prayers, Buff out.

It was 47º around sunrise in the hollow, but will warm to the mid 70's this afternoon. I've already been to a new dermatologist this morning and had some pre cancers frozen off. He seems like he will be more responsive than the guy I've seen for years. Got tired of his act. I'm about to get dressed in my work clothes and go out for a couple of hours on a few stops left over from Monday. Then I'll be back here shipping packages that were delayed by the trip to Michigan. Tarcila is taking the gradson to the zoo today, supposedly there is a flower there that only blooms once every 10-12 years and it just bloomed yesterday. It is reputed to smell like a rotting corpse. Hope she doesn't bring one home.

G'day Y'all,
Rick

Most interesting! My earlier post showed up again 4 hours after the original. 👀

JR...I knew a guy who had a Yugo. Bought it new and was looking for a source for parts within a month. There was a Cadillac dealer around here who would give you a Yugo if you bought a Caddy from him.

Greyfox, that plant might be an Agave, one of the landscaping succulents that look like a big strange cactus. Often seen in AZ, NM and other dry areas.

Thanks for the correction, Charlie. I knew that Agaves won't bloom until they are at least 10-20 years old, and thought that might be it.
