I am new to the 6mm Creedmoor and I am looking for input on the right bullet range for PDs at ranges 400 to 600 ,700 Range. Do I go 100 plus or keep it lighter?

I would use the 87gr range myself.

Don't have a Creedmoor, but for my 243, I like the 70gr Sierra Blitz King.

Just got back from a p-dog trip a few weeks ago....My 6mm bullet of choice was the 105 Amax.....the 6xc was deadly with those pills....Too bad they quit making them.....After I use up the 400 or so that I have on hand I'll start shooting the 87 grainers I guess.

Wow Zeus, I'm right there with you. I just got back Friday night myself from P. dogging and my 6XC w/ 105 Amax performed great. A much better bullet than some of the other makes in that weight class as they act like a varmint bullet(read-blows them up) Several kills in the 700-760 range. Mine are about gone so not sure what I will turn to next. May try the Sierra 95 gr. TMK as I have read they blow up too. Just couldn't get the 87 grainers to shoot.

Just got my rifle done

Thanks for the responses my Savage 12fv with 6 Creedmoor barrel shot a five shot .6 group with Hornady factory 108 match. First box of factory I have bought in 30 years. Now I need a good p dog load. Thanks all
