Xmas gift

Does this include what we got ourselves for the holiday? If so, I'm not done yet!
EDIT; My wife won't buy me anything to do with hunting-period. So, I have to take it upon
myself to fulfill the needs of my shooting and hunting requirements.
One thing that I hope I get this coming year-is permission to go PD hunting in May. That is
up in the air as new baby is scheduled to arrive early May, time will tell.
That would be enough for me.

So far my bride has given me a Jack in the Box and a couple of rifle slings. I have to wait on the rest. But the best gift was, although she has never hunted in her life, she has been with me on the last two yote calling setups helping out with spotting and operating the FoxPro. We're learning as we go and have a lot to learn. Merry Christmas and Happy Hunting to you all.

Worst gift so far is from my boss: $200 gift card to Cabelas.

Why is that the worst you ask? Because now I have to decide what to buy! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about a Bell & Carlson stock for either my Ruger 250savage, or for my 96 mauser in 6.5x55. That and a sling will pretty well shoot the whole thing.

I don't know yet. Santa hasn't made it to WV as far as I know. Maybe I should tie up the dogs first, then he'll come around. Well I gotta go to bed too...... Merry Christmas y'all!

Lance, I got an FX/3 also

It was from my wife, and I got myself a Nikon 6.5X20. By the way I got her a Ruger in 243 so she can hunt coyotes with me. She has been hunting deer with me since 1979, and turkey for the last few years. I got her started shooting Sporting Clays and now she is beating some of the guys at our club.

Merry Christmas,

Jerry.

Going to take the loot and order a couple of cases

of 22 from CMP. Son gave me a digital recorder. Had been borrowing his to record Bullseye range commands for the sustained fire sequences, now have my own.:) Really, really handy and EZ to operate while on the line in the backyard.:D

Wakin' up on the green side of the grass is always good

I did get my Sinclair rest top and cordura bag. Got a few other small needed items to do my PPC cases too.
Got a pair of replacement water varmint mini pliers. Told the kids how they make a plop sound when they hit the water. They must have figured a spare was needed too...
Also got to shoot a stray cat in my back yard last night. Too bad it was with the air soft pellet gun. Cats sure can run fast...

Wife is getting me a 500S&W barrel for my H&R SB2. Should make for a nice feral hog gun.

I have ordered a Boyd's Target/Varminter stock for my BRNO action that is going to be rebarreled to 6mmRem. For when I take up PD shooting.

Boss gave me $500 as a Christmas bonus. Still have most of it left. Think an order from Midway is in order. New Lyman's Universal Trimmer with an Outside Neck Turner should hit the spot.

Might consider a new Alpha Chrony to replace the one that was shot off the tripod by a friend. Seems he left the state before he ever got around to replacing it.

I guess this qualifies as varmint related gifts.
