I had NO idea! (Sorta like buying your favorite car battery...or to put it another way, WHO PUTS THEIR LABEL ON A JOHNSON CONTROLS battery?)

The list shows Redfield but Redfield is still shown to be owned by Leupold. Clicking on the Redfield icon takes you to the Weaver Scope website and no mention of Redfield at all.
I'm not a fan of these conglomerates owning a lot of one type of market. If this company was to go broke or the right person buys controlling interest, like George Soros, you might find all of these companies gone. Who would have ever thought Remington in bankruptcy.

I found out about them over Thanksgiving. I had rebate coupons from Federal and Bushnell and they both went to Vista Outdoors. I had hoped they were in the coupon redemption business as opposed to a giant collector of shooting oriented companies.

That Redfield logo IS a puzzler, though.
