I purchased this a few months ago. Decided to wait until I got to Florida to even look at it . Now I'm no authority on annealing. Some say to some say they don't see any difference . I'm not out to say ya or nay but this is so simplified I even feel comfortable doing it . If the programs are correct this has to be the simplest and fastest way to go. . After deciding to run the Aztec mode I installed the correct pilot for the 6 Br correct shell holder and fed the machine the correct code provide from AMP after smoking a piece of brass. It gave me and setting to use for this particular lot and neck diameter pieces of brass . Very simple even I was able to figure it out with just my phone instructions. Yep once getting over the initial cost it's very nice .

Nope, I never used any water to quench. I learned early on that it only made the cases wet. I did once have a Ken Light with the wheel and used it for years. Now I have a Giraud annealer. I used a friend's AMP to do about 500 cases the other day. It was very good and consistent. But $1700 is a little beyond my price point. I am going to start regular annealing again, but I'll be using the Giraud which gives good results if you calibrate the time and heat correctly. ...and it's paid for. ;)
