Read this reference on the Scoville measurement scale. Try to get the rating as high as possible. Don't forget to look at Chinese "hot oil" also. I have no insight into mail order, but would try to visit some international groceries if you can get to a bigger city.

The Source

Scott, There is a jerky store in South Louisiana that makes plenty of money selling " Tough Guys " a taste of a hot sauce called The Source. There are several on line sellers of this as well as many You Tube videos of people tasting. Good luck with your tough guys.

 

Never tried it myself, but

I understand there is a sauce called "Nuckin' Futz" that will make a believer out of you in the "Heat Department"

I like the hot stuff until the next morning. I've spent a few mornings on the pot thinking I was gonna die right there...and also thinking that wouldn't be a bad thing at the time...I don't eat habaneros any more.

Google this (hot papa's Randolph NY) at one time they had hot stuff from all over. If it didn't eat the bottle they stocked it. Also a Hometown shop.

the new ghost pepper is out in a hot sauce. NMSU made the recipe and a portion of the sale of the hot sauce goes to pepper research it has the nmsu logo on the side of the bottle.. they tamed it down to edible. But there are other gost pepper sauces out there that are not tamed. and they are killer.

I'll second that one Terry N. I've had that stuff. The also make a bag mix for home made chili that is pretty good as well. "Ass Kicking Chili Fixins" Good stuff.

 

You just trying to hurt some people or you want some really good-tasting sauce? Pepper appreciation is much like liquor. Rum drinkers start by mixing cheap $h!t with coke, then maybe evolve to 5-year-old with soda and end up sipping 8-yr on the rocks. A couple weeks ago I nearly got in a fight with a bartended who brought me rum that didn't match the brand/label/age I ordered and then reckoned I couldn't taste the difference! Same thing with peppers; I don't use pepper sauce anymore, I corn my own Scotch Bonnets (Jabeneros).
